Marcelo’s Life

Marcelo is thirty-nine years old, and he is married to Agatha. They live in a Favela—a poor area, in Rio de
Janeiro in Brazil. They have two daughters: Livia, who is in her fourth year of school, and one-year-old Marcia.

Janeiro. He leaves home at 5:30 AM and drives his taxi to the airport. He starts work at 6:00 AM and finishes at

Robert Downey Jr. is an American actor who is famous for his appearance in movies such as ‘Iron Man,’ ‘The Avengers,’
and ‘Sherlock Holmes.’

Robert Downey Jr. was born on April 4, 1965 in Manhattan, New York. His father was an actor, writer, and director. His
mother was an actress. From a very young age, Downey Jr. and his sister were involved in acting. In 1978, at the
age of 13, Downey’s parents got divorced and he went to California to live with his father. In California, he went to high
school in Santa Monica, but he left school and never finished it. Then, he went back to New York to live with his mother.

Robert made his debut as an actor at the age of five in his father’s movie ‘Pound’. From 1983 to1987, Downey Jr. had a
busy professional life. In 1983, he was part of the Broadway musical ‘American Passion’. Later, in 1985, he acted in the
movie ‘Weird Science’ and the next year in 1986 he appeared in the movie ‘Pretty in Pink’. From 1985 to 1986, he was a
member of the famous TV show ‘Saturday Night Live.’ He was a drug addict in the movie ‘Less than Zero’ in 1987 and in
real life too. For this reason, he took a break from his career and began to rest.

In 1992, Downey Jr. married Debora Falconer and two years later they had a son. In 2004 they got divorced.
Unfortunately, Robert grew up around drugs as his father was a drug addict, and Downey Jr. started to smoke marijuana
at the age of 6. His problems with drugs escalated from 1996 to 2001 because he used many different kinds of drugs.
During these years he was in prison and rehabilitation. Fortunately, he stopped taking drugs and in 2003, Downey Jr.
began to act again. In 2005, the actor married Susan Downey and they had two children.

In 2008, 2010, and 2013 Downey acted in the famous Hollywood movies ‘Iron Man,’ ‘Iron Man 2,’ and ‘Iron Man 3’ in
which he played the memorable role of Tony Stark. In 2009, and 2011 he acted in the British-American action mystery
movies, ‘Sherlock Holmes’ and ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’. In 2012, he appeared in the movie ‘The
Avengers’ with Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson. Finally, in 2019, Robert acted in the movie ‘Avengers:
Endgame’. These movies are famous all over the world.
