The Barangay Nutrition Committee shall have the following responsibilities:

1. Adopt the national food and nutrition policies and strategies;


2. Formulate, coordinate, implement, monitor, and evaluate the Barangay Nutrition Action Plan;
3. Coordinate for the request of grants and loans and their corresponding releases for nutrition program;
4. Generate and mobilize resources
5. Coordinate all requests for grants and /or aid from government agencies, non-government organizations and donor agencies involved in nutrition program
6. Integrate the Barangay Nutrition Action Plan to Barangay Development Plan/Annual Investment Plan
