WHAT IS EURO 4 EMISSIONS?
EURO X is an indication of emission quality. Higher the EURO number, the cleaner the
emissions.
Emission values depend on 2 factors:

• Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) – recirculates exhaust air back to intake to reduce emissions of
harmful gases
• Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) – exhaust passes through a catalyst to burn off excess harmful gases

➢ When vehicle experiences slip example during sudden swerve to avoid obstacles, this causes
vehicle direction not the same as intended steering direction.
