Dear Students,

Greetings from the Internship Team!

This is an important semester for you. This is the semester which we start preparing you
'mentally' for your Internship or industrial training. The Internship training period will begin on
your 5th semester of your education.

Internship is indeed very challenging. To prepare you for the training, we will have
briefings/workshop throughout the whole of this semester. You must attend at least 80% of all of
these briefings/workshop to be able to proceed for the Internship semester. There will also be a
COMPULSORY workshop for you to attend ie. Internship Assessment Part I and II and Customer
Service Excellence.

As part of your training, we will also be monitoring your attendance and punctuality for all your
subjects this semester. Failure to meet the 80% requirement for all these subjects you could be
stopped from going out for Internship.

The purpose for this stringent exercise is not to make your lives or even ours miserable!
However, to be able to survive and pass your Internship, you must be diligent.

Throughout the semester, you will be required to submit various forms - e.g. Internship
Application Forms, Resumes, etc. We would like to appeal to you to cooperate with us to submit
these according to the deadlines given, failing which, we will also have to stop you from going
out for Internship. Do check your emails regularly for important announcements.
