    Halloween is an old festival celebrated by people in Britain, Scotland, Ireland, Australia and the United States. Originally celebrated by the Celts, they believed on Halloween night there were ghosts, witches on brooms, vampires and werewolves. Now celebrated annually on October 31st, children make Jack-o-lanterns from pumpkins which they use for trick-or-treating, going from house to house asking for sweets or money while wearing costumes.
