Session #3 Coach Overview
Quick Wins: Energy
Goal: Assist clients in gaining immediate improvements in the energy they feel and generate each day.
Recommended Session Time: 60 minutes.
Session Process
1. Call, Skype, or meet with your client.
2. Recap last session (“Last time we spoke about”) and ask, “How have you been since our last session? How have you felt and what are you
excited about in life right now?” Don’t spend too much time here; keep chit-chat to a minimum and jump into the Topic Overview.
3. Guide client through High Performance Discussion below.
4. As a Coach, keep the mindset that this is a long term coaching relationship, not just 12 sessions. Use phrases like "in this initial round of
coaching", "coaching journey" and talk about long term, having patience and how personal growth is an ongoing process.
5. Recap what you heard and explain High Performance Homework.
6. Preview and schedule next session.
Session Topic Overview
1. Our goal this session is to understand how much energy you have each day and how to amplify it to higher levels so that you have the
vibrancy and stamina needed to achieve your goals and live a fully charged life.
2. The world’s highest performers have remarkable energy and endurance in chasing their dreams.
3. Energy is one of the most important topics in High Performance. [Discuss why the topic is meaningful to you.]
4. I’d love to hear how you feel about this topic and how it’s affecting your performance, so let me ask you a few questions.
High Performance Discussion
1. In the last 3 months, how have you felt energetically in terms of your mental and physical vibrancy? Why do you think that is so? Tell
me about a time when you felt your mental energy and physical vibrancy was at it's best? How did that feel and what was going on
then?
2. In the areas of nutrition, exercise, wellness, and sleep, what habits do you have that are really supporting your energy and health?”
3. What routines do you have for recharging daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly? What would make you feel more vibrant?
4. Are there any areas of your life that are particularly stressful or draining energetically? If so, what are you doing for stress management?
5. What would you take on or try to achieve if you had 3x more energy overall?
6. If you became more committed to your optimal health, what would you immediately start doing and stop doing?
7. [Now transition and teach the concepts on the attached High Performance Energy Checklist.]
I’d like to spend the rest of our time sharing some High Performance concepts that might help you in this area. I’ll describe them to you,
ask a few questions, and see if you have any questions. Then I’ll email you the Energy Checklist that you can use to go even deeper.
Recap and High Performance Homework

2. Quick questions: What did you love about this session today? What insight did you grab onto? Do you feel that if you were even more
consistent in applying that insight to your life that your life would improve? Awesome, good for you.

Performance Energy Checklist I discussed. I’d like you to review and use it every day before our next session, okay?

Preview and Schedule Next Session

1. Our next session is going to focus on COURAGE. It’s going to answer a lot of your questions about how to gain more confidence and
command of your life, especially in expressing yourself and tackling major challenges that inevitably show up in life.
2. In the meantime, please review the High Performance Energy Checklist every day between now and our next session, okay?
3. Let’s schedule our call next week/month.
4. End on a high note with an enthusiastic tone.
