Greetings All,

My name is Mr. Aldridge, but I go by Mr. A. I will be your child’s teacher this year and I
am so excited to be part of your child’s educational journey. I come with many years of
educational field. There are three key things I believe will help us have a safe and productive
learning environment this year. First is mutual respect for all student and myself. We will talk
about this daily and will be an expectation for all students. Second is turning in work on time. It
is so easy to fall behind and become overwhelmed with the class load, so turning in work on
time ensures students don’t fall behind. Thirdly positive attitudes, because I am preparing them
for the future and in life attitude is everything.
If your child is absence, they will receive all missed work and will have the number of
days they were absent to complete the assignments and turn them in. If your child makes a
failing grade on an assignment and you would like them to redo the assignment that is an
option, they will get the assignment and must correct all wrong answers and turn it in the next
day after they receive the redo work and they will receive a grade of 70. If you ever need to
reach me or would like to schedule a meeting, please send me a e-mail and I will schedule a
meeting during my conference period. Again, I am so excited about this new school year and
watching your child succeed in all areas.
