[서류제출 유의사항]
- 반드시 모든 서류는 ‘NIIED 2023 정부초청 외국인 대학원 장학생 모집요강‘을 참조
- ‘작성서류’의 경우, 영어 또는 한국어로 작성된 자필 서명 원본 제출 (아포스티유 또는 영사확인 불필요)
- ‘증명서류’의 경우, 반드시 아포스티유 또는 영사 확인 원본 서류를 제출(아포스티유 또는 영사확인 서류의 유효기
간은 서류에 기재된 기간으로 하되, 기재되어 있지 않은 경우 발급일 기준 2년 이내만 허용)
☞ 영어(또는 한국어)로 작성된 서류: 아포스티유 또는 영사확인
☞ 현지어(영어 제외)로 작성된 서류: ①현지어서류와 번역공증본 모두 제출 ②현지어 서류 또는 번역공증본 중 1개

- Please be mindful about the separate requirements (or additionally requested documents) set by each department
- If the department requires additional documents, applicants must submit those materials directly to the
University(Office of International Affairs).
- Please check about the department which is only available to start the degree program at a certain period of time. If
a specific department only allows students to start their first semester in September, relevant scholars may not enroll
in the degree program in March.

[Notes for Documents to submit]
- Must refer to the ‘NIIED’S 2023 Global Korea Scholarship Application Guidelines’ for detailed information
- Documents to Complete: All forms must be filled in English or Korean with applicant’s original handwritten
signature. (No need to be apostilled or consular confirmed)
- Required Certificate:
1) Documents written in English or Korean: must be apostilled or consular confirmed
2) Documents written in other languages: ① documents written in a language other than English or Korean
must be submitted with a certified translation ② obtain apostille or consular confirmation on either the original
document or the certified translation (If there is an expiration date on an apostilled or consular confirmed
documents, the validity of the document will be judged based on the date indicated on the authentication. If
there is no specific date indicated, the documents will be accepted if it was submitted within 2 years from the
date of authentication)
※ If the document cannot be apostilled or consular confirmed (e.g., because the type of document is not subject to
apostille), applicants must obtain a certified true copy (등본 인증) from the apostille issuing government authority or
from the Korean embassy on a notarized copy. If the authenticity of the submitted document is unclear, such
application may be put at a disadvantage during evaluation
- Applicants must have obtained the required degree (minimum level of education indicated above) by
February 28, 2023
- Applicant’s English name and date of birth must match the name and date of birth on their own passport.
(We recommend to submit applicant’s passport(copy) if you have)
- All of the documents must be submitted in original within the designated period by post or in person.
(E-mail submissions are not accepted)
- All of the documents never be returned
※ Applicants are responsible for errors made during the application process that may result in cancellation of
admission, such as failure to submit required documents, error or omission in the documents, failure to fulfill the
requirements indicated in the guidelines, indistinct addresses listed, correspondence failures, failure to check the
list of successful applicants, failure to execute procedure necessary to enter the country and others.
