Please make sure to read below before submitting your application.

 This admissions guide pertains only to Undergraduate and The (General) Graduate School
admissions for international applicants at Ewha Womans University; admissions for
international applicants refers to the admissions process for non-Korean nationals whose
parents are both non-Korean.
- For information on the admissions process for Professional & Special Graduate Schools,
please see the admissions guide of respective graduate schools.

 From the 2024 academic year, applicants will be required to submit their documents online.
Please fill out your application form online and upload your documents in PDF format.
- All uploaded documents must be in Korean or English (or must have been translated into
Korean or English and notarized).
- Applicants to Art & Athletic fields must additionally submit materials showing their artistic or
athletic abilities by post; please see page 20.

 Should you be offered preliminary admission, you must then submit original hard copies
of all documents by post by the designated deadline.
- Academic documents issued in a country other than Korea must be submitted after you
have completed authentication procedures, i.e. Apostille or Consular authentication and
in case of Chinese academic documents, CHSI verification; please see pages 21-23.
- Depending on the organization, the authentication process may take a long time; thus,
please have all documents prepared in advance so you can promptly submit them upon
the announcement of preliminary admissions decisions.

 Once the online application process (including document upload and application fee
payment) is complete, you will not be allowed to modify, replace, or cancel your
application or documents. Thus, please use the online preview function to ensure that
you have selected and entered all information correctly before submitting your
application. The University will not be held responsible for any consequences of errors
made by applicants.

 Please make a note of your application number as it will be used to check the admission
results.

 Applicants who are expected to graduate from a school located in a country other than
Korea: To ensure timely arrival in Korea after being offered admission, you must submit
final and authenticated academic documents by at least a month before the start of the
semester; the documents must contain information about the fact that you have
graduated. Failure to submit final academic documents may cause difficulties in the
admission process as your certificate of admission and visa may not be issued. Prior to
applying, therefore, please make sure to check whether you are able to submit your final
academic documents by at least one month before the start of the semester.
