SUBJECT Incident Report of Vehicular Accident Resulting in Multiple Damage


of Property

DATE March 23, 2023

1. On March 23, 2023, at approximately 1:55 PM, a vehicular collision occurred in


Barangay Linao East, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. The incident involved Mr.
Rolando Catolos, a 29-year-old male and resident of Barangay Mabato Carig
Sur, Tuguegarao City. Mr. Catolos was driving a Mitsubishi Montero Sports with
license plate number 12345.

2. According to eyewitnesses and the evidence gathered at the scene, it has been
determined that Mr. Catolos was driving at a high speed when he lost control of
his vehicle. As a result, he collided with a fruit stall situated on the side of the
road. The impact of the collision caused extensive damage to the stall and other
adjacent properties.

3. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident. According to the

damage to the fruit stall and other nearby properties. The affected parties have
suffered significant financial losses due to the incident The primary cause of the
incident was determined to be Mr. Catolos' excessive speed while operating his
vehicle. His inability to control the car effectively at high speeds led to the
collision.

4. As a result of the incident .Mr. Catolos will be held accountable for the damages
caused and will face appropriate legal consequences for his reckless driving
behavior. The local traffic authorities should intensify their efforts to enforce
traffic regulations in the area, with a specific focus on speeding and reckless
driving behaviors. Regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks should
be implemented to ensure the roadworthiness of vehicles and identify potential
mechanical issues that could contribute to accidents. Public awareness
campaigns and educational programs should be conducted to promote
responsible driving practices and educate the community about the dangers of
driving under the influence of alcohol.

These recommended actions aim to prevent similar incidents in the future, improve
road safety, and minimize the financial and property losses experienced by the
affected parties.
