supplied, and arrangements are made to move the equipment and cargo.
Glossary:
Devan: To remove freight from a container.
EIR (Equipment Interchange Receipt): A form used by third parties to confirm the
delivery and receipt of containers and container equipment.
Feeder Service: A service coordinating cargo/container transport by small feeder
vessels to large vessels for ocean transit.
NVOCCs (Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier): Carriers that do not operate vessels
but arrange for ocean transport and consolidation at ports.
