In this Proclamation unless the context requires

yxþT×eà ØÁ‰§êE ÄþäK‰sþÃêE ¶pBlþK The powers and duties of the Prime Minister
«Q§Y ¸nþSTR oLÈNÂ tGÆR bÞg of the Federal Democratic Republic of
mNGotÜ xNqA &4 ytmlktW YçÂL”” Ethiopia shall be as specified under Article 74
of the Constitution.
4. SlMKTL «Q§Y ¸nþST„ oLÈNÂ tGÆR 4. Powers and Duties of the Deputy Prime Minister
yxþT×eà ØÁ‰§êE ÄþäK‰sþÃêE ¶pBlþK The powers and duties of the Deputy Prime
MKTL «Q§Y ¸nþSTR oLÈNÂ tGÆR Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic
bÞg mNGotÜ xNqA &5 ytmlktW of Ethiopia shall be as specified under Article
YçÂL”” 75 of the Constitution.
1/ y¸nþSTéC MKR b¤T y¸ktlùT xƧT 1/ The Council of Ministers shall have the

1/ y¸nþSTéC MKR b¤T oLÈNÂ tGÆ„N 1/ The Council of Ministers may, with a view
lmwÈT YrÄW zND yMKR b¤tÜ to exercising its powers and duties, have
xƧT y¸gßùÆcW L† L† ̸ various standing committees comprising
÷¸t½ãC lþñ„T YC§L”” of its members.
2/ y̸ ÷¸t½ãC oLÈN tGÆR bMKR 2/ The powers and duties of standing

manuals of the Council.

yTMHRT ¸nþSt½R y¸ktlùT oLÈNÂ The Ministry of Education shall have the
tGÆéC Yñ„¬L\ powers and duties to:
1/ yTMHRTÂ oL«Â S¬NÄRD ÃwÈL\ 1/ set education and training standards, and
o‰ §Y mêlùNM ÃrUGÈL\ ensure the implementation of same;

tGÆéC bzþH xêJ lÆHL tܶZM laws, currently in force, are hereby given
