AICTE intends to empanel recently retired Central Government/State


Government/Autonomous Bodies/Central or State Universities officials
(excluding PSU) having served as Section Officer to Deputy Secretary level or
equivalent and drawn Grade Pay from Rs.4,600/- to Rs.7,600/- (Level - 07
to 12 as per 7th CPC) on substantive post at the time of retirement. Such
retired officers are to be engaged on requirement basis as Consultant in
AICTE Hq.New Delhi and it’s Regional Office, SWRO Bangalore as per
the Terms & Conditions of AICTE. The interested candidates may apply
online through the link provided on AICTE website from 18.02.2022 and
need to upload (i) Pension Payment Order (PPO) (ii) Date of Birth Certificate
and (iii) Medical Fitness Certificate and (iv) Vigilance Clearance from
previous office. The last date of submission of application is 06.03.2022.
Candidates after successful submission of application are required to appear
for Walk-In-Interview/Online along with their original testimonials at AICTE
Hq. (Administration Bureau) on 08.03.2022 at 11.00 AM. The eligibility

MEMBER SECRETARY
General information:

1. The persons retired from Central Govt./State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/


Central & State Universities (excluding PSU), who had been drawing the
Grade Pay from Rs.4600/- to Rs.7600/- (6th CPC) and (Level-07 to Level -
12 as per 7th CPC ) on substantive post at the time of retirement, are
eligible for engagement as Consultants on contractual basis. The person
should not have attained the age of 62 years as on date of Walk-In-
Interview/Online.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Interview.

Terms and Conditions:

Some of the salient terms and conditions are given below:-

1. Allowances: The Consultant shall not be entitled to any allowances such as


DA, HRA, Transport allowance, Medical reimbursement or any other benefits
etc.

2. Leave: Consultant shall be entitled to 2½ days leave in each calendar


month with a provision to carry forward the leave, if the assignment is
continued without a break, subject to lapse at the end of the calendar year
and permission not to grant more than 5 days leave at one time. Duties
performed on Saturday, Sunday or any holiday will not be compensated by
grant of Compensatory Leave. Instead, Travelling Allowance as per rules will
be admissible for attendance on these days.
