ARMS AND TIERS OF GOVERNMENT
There are three arms of government namely: the executive, the legislative, and then judiciary
while the tires of government are Federal, State and Local. The federal is headed by the
president, the state by the governor and local government by the chairman.
THE EXECUTIVE: This arm of government implements and enforces the laws made or
passed by the legislator. Those that fall under these categories are the president, governors,
ministers, commissioners.
THE LEGISLATIVE: This is the arm of government that make laws. E.g Federal house
of representative, National Assembly and State house of Assembly.
THE JUDICIARY: This is the third arm of government that interpret laws. E,g police
