ROBOTICS
⬢ Robotics simply entails the science and
technology of robots, their design,
manufacture, and application

8

A Robot is simply a
computerized control
system.
A computerized control
system allows us to use
computer and computer
software to supervise the
operation of a control
system

CNC STANDS FOR
“COMPUTERIZED NUMERIC CODE”
CNC machines are the key drivers of Computer aided
manufacturing, where a part can be manufactured over
and over again with the help of stored codes in the
computers memory.
CNC Machines are coded using Geometric (G) and
Miscellaneous (M) code
G codes are used for work piece directions
and
M codes are motor speed control and direction

CONCLUSION
⬢ The goal of SIWES was achieve as the
training exposed me to various aspect
that encompasses Mechatronic
engineering, and enlightened me on
various design approach involved in my
field.

20
RECOMMEDATION
⬢ I strongly recommend the lab be integrated to all
courses done in the classroom to aid the
appreciation of the course by the students.
⬢ Also expert on the various branches of
mechatronics should be employed to handle
their specialty, so a better understanding and
appreciation of the lab be reached.
