When removing a Bovie #12 plug, you must Press the button while puling the plug out. + When handling the pin-tip style plug, hold the wire about 3 inches (7.6 cm) from the tip and push the button while inserting the tis. IMPORTANT: Verify proper insertion by tugging gently on the plug to ensure that the ReadiPlug™ mechanism has properly retained the tip. To remove the pin-ti, you must press the button while pulling the plug out.
