1. Studying abroad can bring students a number of benefits

• Enhance knowledge and experience: students are more open to new


knowledge. They will experience new culture as well as customs when living in a
foreign country.

• Foster personal growth: students become truly independently when living


far from their family, they are able to look after themselves and cope with their
own affairs or difficulties.

• Promote career prospects: students having a foreign degree will have more
chances to be successful in their career than those are graduated from national
universities.

• Your own idea: Making friends from around the world.

2. Smoking should be banned in public places

• Smoker’s health: Smokers are also at risk of experiencing several health


problems (lung problems, lung cancer..)

• Second-hand smoker’s health: Non-smokers can also be exposed to the


chemical substances in smoke

• Financial burden: The cost of smoking cigarettes is not only a daily


financial cost, it can lead to higher costs for health and life insurance, high health
care costs due to smoking-related diseases

• Your own idea: Fires: Careless smoking is the leading cause of fire deaths.

3. Disadvantages of owning a car

• Not green: More cars mean more pollution. The environment has become
less green nowadays.

• Stuck (traffic jam): Using more private car, the density of traffic has been
increased and citizens have had to stay longer time on traffic load.
• Expensive: petrol will likely be your biggest expense. It also requires
additional costs to maintain and repair if being broken.

• Your own idea: it is difficulty in finding parking lot

5. It is good to learn a new language

- Language- a best means of culture: Language is a bridge to help you connect


people around and avoid culture shock.

- Better communication: Language helps express our feelings, desires, and


connect with other humans around us and forms meaningful relationships.

- Plentiful information: you can get a lot of information easily, so you are able to
show your own ideas and become smarter

6. An ideal job

- Long and paid holidays: It is important for employees to take the time off they
are entitled to. Paid holiday leave is not a bonus granted by your employer, it's a
legal

- High salary: It is certainly true that payment is a necessary thing to consider in


preferring a line of work

- A comfortable working environment: friendly colleagues or kind boss

7. Jogging is the most popular form of exercise:

- Cheap: it is easily accessible and relatively inexpensive

- Easy: you just get up early and go jogging in the park

- Suitable for everyone. Almost people can practice this kind of exercise.

diabetes and several types of cancer.
8. There are several solutions to transport problems

- Using public means of transport: Promoting Public Transport to limit traffic


jams at a peak hour

- Flexible working hours: Flexible work hours reduce traffic volume


and congestion during peak times by shifting drivers' commutes to less congested
periods

- Widening roads: widening the existing streets or building more new roads
would absolutely solve these problems to a certain extent.

- Your own ideas: Increasing car tax: The higher car tax is, the less car drivers are
on the road.

9. There are lots of stress things in our daily life

- Job security: when having a heavy workload or too much responsibility; even
working long hours, we have a tendency to become stressful.

- Finance. Money can make us feel tired because we have to think of how to
earn much money to cover our life and how to save up as well as spend it
reasonably.

- Family life: for example when a woman gives a birth; she has lots of things to
care for. Without the help and sympathy of a husband, she maybe is easy to
feel stress.

- Your own idea: Personal relationship: for example: when you fall in love with
your partner, both of you live far away, if both of you are not communicating
frequently, it is still a cause of stress.

10. Things that affect people’s job satisfaction?

- Qualifications: if they have to do something that they are not trained, it is


difficult for them to do the job well.

- Attitude to work: The passion you spend with your suitable job is also a
factor that brings the successful career development
- Relationship with colleagues: It is common knowledge that people who get
on well with each other are more likely to work well together

- Your own idea : Good condition: professional working environment and


opportunities for promotion may be elements that a person will take into
account to work in a long term with a company

11. Examinations are not necessary

- Unfair: they have a poor predictive quality because they only judge a student's
ability under set conditions and limited time.

- Time-consuming: it takes much time for teachers to create a test during one
school year.

- Costly: for example: each year, the government spends a big amount of money
for the university entrance exam, it also takes a month to score and still have many
problems.

- Your own idea: Students can cheat in exams

12. Crimes are increasing in modern society

- DVD: many children are addicted to games on DVD. They may fall into social
evils

- Unemployment: high rates of unemployment leads many people engage in


criminal activities as a way of making a living.

- TV program: action movies with murder, robbers are being popular amongst
youth. That leads to an increase crime among teenagers as they try to copy what
they have seen in the movies.

- Your own idea: alcohol and drug abuse can be connected to why people break
the law

13. How important are your friends to you?

- Share life: close friends are who we I share with them everything including
sorrow and happiness.
- Help: They are always side by side me when I have difficulties.

- Get together (have fun) Gossiping about others, talking about the new movie or
song releases, going to concerts and clubs, all these happen when you are with
your friends.

- Your own idea: Friends can also provide a positive influence. If you make
friends with people who are generous with their time, help others, you will develop
those values yourself.

14. Difficulties for people living in cities

- Finding work: As more and more people are leaving their hometowns in search
of jobs, it is difficult to find good jobs in big cities.

- Finding accommodation: the cost of living is likely to be much higher than it is


in a small town or village. Inhabitants of cities have to pay higher prices for
housing

- Traveling around: : the number of vehicles raised significantly while the


quality of facilities is worse makes streets congested with traffic. It makes people
become difficult to move quickly when living in big cities like HCM, Ha Noi…

- Your own idea: Serious air pollution puts inhabitants of cities at a higher risk of
lung cancer and respiratory illnesses

15. Negative effects of fast food

- Loss of appetite: If we eat a lot of fast food, we may lose our appetite because it
has a lot of oil and artificial spices.

- Lack of family gathering: fast foods don't allow family members to have
a gathering to cook meals and have a fresh food

- Irregular eating time: we may have irregular eating time, so it is not good for
our health.

- Your own idea: Fast foods are loaded with fat and calories. Ordering without
restraint will have negative effects on your weight

16. Benefit when living in the countryside


- Peace and quietness The countryside is generally quiet and peaceful . It is not as
contaminated with toxic pollutants as the city. There isn't as much traffic or smog
or pollution from industry.

- Contact with nature: In the countryside, there are many plant spices, you are
free to admire the beautiful views or enjoy walking around the lake or picking up
flowers. You are woken up by the singing of the birds

- Good neighbors : people in the countryside are really friendlier and are ready to
help neighbors without asking anything return.

- Your own idea: Living costs is cheap, you may afford many other things because
the prices are lower.

17. Uniforms for staff at university

- Look good: It gives a professional image and an executive look

- Be easily recognized: The staffs wearing uniform assist the business to recognize
them as the workers of a certain corporation group

- Save money for staff: Wearing a uniform also helps staffs avoid much of the
cost of clothing and apparel

- Your own idea: Work uniforms help instill a sense of pride and responsibility

- Be more convenient to study: your classroom and instructor are available 24


hours a day, seven days a week.

- Be independent in learning: you choose your own learning environment that


works best for your needs.

experience for learners who want to widen their knowledge but do not have much

19. There are some ways to stay healthy


- Having good diets: People should pay attention to their diets. A healthy diet
provides the body with enough essential nutrition.

- Doing exercise: Playing sports or doing morning exercises regularly helps us


keep fit and become stronger.

- Relaxing and being happy: An important factor contributing to a healthy


lifestyle is sufficient relaxation that helps people release the pressure and always
feel happy.

- Your own idea: Get enough sleep and rest. Adults need around eight hours of
sleep a night.

20. Benefits of technology

- Online shopping: we can choose online shopping in the modern life to save time
and money

- Food delivery: we can order food and have the restaurant deliver it to us without
traveling all the way to the restaurant to order and enjoy the food.

- Learning techniques: teachers can help all students learn to more effectively use
the time they spend studying by sharing research-proven techniques.
