ITENERARY EAST JAVA TRIP

IJEN CRATER-SUKAMADE BEACH-KALIBARU-WATER RAFTING-MT.BROMO-BATU

MALANG CITY TOUR-SURABAYA CITY TOUR (8D7N)
Day 1. Pick you up at Surabaya airport before 10 am. Meet with our team and drive 5 hours go
to Bondowoso city. Overnight at Ijen View Hotel and Resort. Lunch will stop during drive at our
regular restaurant. We will check out at 00.00 (midnight) the 2 hours drive to Ijen parking area
(Paltuding).

Day 2. Will arrive at Pal Tuding around 2.00 am. And start the trekking as soon as You
can. Our regular local guides will help You to reach the bottom of the crater. It is 3 km for
1 way, around 2 hours trekking. perhaps You can take some shots of the milky way. At
the bottom of the crater, before sunrise, You can see the blue fire. Must have a good
camera and its tripod. So make sure You bring Your tripod to the crater. After the sunrise,
You will see an acid lake with warm mineral water with its green colored water. During
the trekking, You’ll see the hard work of the sulfur miners.
You must reach back the starting point before 9 am. Have a simple breakfast, make sure
You do Your toilet break because the nearest toilet will be 2 hours after You leave Pal
Tuding.
Drive 4 hours to Jajag and transfer to a jeep and drive another 4 hours on a bumpy road
in to a deep jungle. Lunch at Red Island, grilled fish. Arrive at Kebun Guest House around
5 pm and rest.
Dinner at 6.30 PM and then at 7.15 PM drive 20 minutes to Sukamade Beach for wild sea
turtle observation till 10 PM and back to the Guest House for rest.
Day 3. Breakfast at 5.30 AM, breakfast and then drive to Sukamade beach to release some
baby sea turtle to the sea. Then drive back to Jajag and transfer back to our car and drive
2 hours to Kalibaru resort for rest.
Day 4. In the morning we can walk to coffee plantation and if any traditional dance
show,we will go there. Check out after breakfast then 4-5 hours drive to Probolinggo city.
Overnight at hotel at Probolinggo.
Day 5. After breakfast,at 7 am we will drive 1,5 hours go to Pekalen white water rafting.
Having 4 hours activity here. After rafting activity,we wil have a lunch service. Then 2-3
hours drive to Mt.Bromo area. Overnight at our regular homestay. Dinner will be served
at the home stay. If You want to have a traditional massage here, please ask You driver to
call me so I ca arrange it for You. The price is 200,000 IDR for 1 hour full body massage.
The massuer will come and do the massage at the homestay. Will be a lot better to do the
massage before dinner and after shower.
Day 6. You must wake up at 2.30 am and prepare Your self for Mt. Bromo Sunrise Tour. At
2.30 am, our regular jeep driver will take You to Mt. Penanjakan, make sure You
remember the jeep. The color, the number, the stickers. Even better if You take the picture
of the jeep by Your mobile phone before You leave. It will be around 20 minutes drive
with a private jeep.
At 6 am, You must go back to the jeep and drive down.
Then drive back to the homestay for clean up and breakfast. You are welcome to give tip
to the jeep driver and homestay lady.
After breakfast, You must check out at 10 am and start to drive to Madakaripura waterfall.
Then continue drive to Malang and Batu city. We will visit museum of transportation (one
of biggest at south east asia). Then overnight at Batu hotel.
Day 7. After breakfast,we will drive to Gunung Banyak for Paragliding activities. You will
fly tandom with the instructure. Really fun and save. Then drive to Surabaya city. Visit to
Museum of sampoerna and overnight at Swiss Bell Inn Tunjungan. In front of hotel have
a biggest shopping mall at Surabaya area.
Day 8. Check out what time you want,then 1 hour drive to Surabaya airport. Tour will be
finish here.
