The micro:bit allows children to learn about how computers
work. They can learn about coding and programming as well
as about inputs and outputs. It is a project from the BBC
which gave over one million children a micro:bit in 2016 so
that they could learn about computer science and STEM
topics.

The device is described as half the size of a credit card and
has an ARM Cortex-M0 processor, accelerometer and
magnetometer sensors, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, a
display consisting of 25 LEDs, two programmable buttons,
