The giant panda is classified as a bear in the Ursidae family. though it's
known as "big bear cat when directly translated from Mandarin. The giant
panda does not hibernate like most bears. Instead, this rare mammal lives mostly in
solitude throughout its 35-year lifespan. One of the most characteristic qualities of the
giant panda is its black and white colors. They have black eye patches, shoulder patches
and leg patches. They are skilled tree climbers and can reach sizes of 300 pounds and 6
feet tall when standing on its back two legs. Female pandas are usually smaller than male
pandas. The giant panda has a special hidden "thumb" that allows it to break bamboo,
which is a very important job for giant pandas. For me, these panadas are lovely animals.
