I fucking hate my club penguin fanfic

Chapter 5
The night was deadly and silent. Somehow, the day started to get cloudy and later it began to rain
making the island grow windy and cold. The smell of fresh snow reached through my lungs as I
ambled to my igloo. It's been 3 months after Rokos death. Those days was the hardest times for
me to cope.

After the incident I felt miserable, my boss noticed my sudden change of mood and gave me a
month to recover but it wasn't working.

Suddenly, a tang of caffeine started to fill in the environment. I looked up and was blinded by the
gleaming lights of the Coffee shop. I hum a little debating if a good cup of coffee would warm
up my frozen heart. I shook my wet boots before entering the shop and untangled the white scarf
that was snuggling around my neck.

As I got in, a wave of warmth greeted me with anticipation making me release a smile. It has
been a while since I smiled.

'Good night, how may I serve you with?' the barista kindly asked, I walked over to them and took
a quick glance at the menu.

'One cappuccino please' I smiled as I hand in the money on the counter. As they began working
on my beverage, I took a few steps forward and noticed a faint light coming from upstairs, this
made me light up.

I motioned the barista on where I was going to sit and ran up as I admired the warm furniture and
the smell of old books.

I scanned my eyes through the shelves and picked up a dusty old book, I sat down on the coach
and began turning the pages while I patiently waited for my coffee. When I was about start
reading, I began to hear someone mumbling from behind the shelves. I laid down my book and
followed the voice without making any noise.

'I told you a thousand times that- ugh, you know what?! I'm tired of this!" the owner of the voice
finally revealed themselves from the bookshelf, their back facing me.
It was a penguin with delicate blue feathers adoring their body, messy brown hair that appeared
to look like it has never been brushed in its life was being held by a pink bandana, a white scarf
snuggled around their neck.

'I’ll do it myself, like I always do!' they growled as they curled the tip if their fins into fists and
turned around to walk away before jumping up from the ground startle once they spot me sitting
from the comfort of the sofa.
‘Ah! Sorry about that! I didn’t mean to frighten you.’
I said quickly, the blue penguin’s expression slowly replaced from frustrating to a patient smile.
‘Oh no worries, accidents always happen, don’t they?’
The stranger gently smiled at me; they had such a sweet smile compared to the explosive
personality they had a few minutes ago.

When I was about to introduce myself, the barista came in with my cup of coffee before looking
at my new companion with a puzzled gaze.
'Oh, another costumer? That’s odd, I didn’t notice you before, would you like something to
drink?'
‘Haha, no thanks, I’m fine. I’m just here for the books...’ They sighed.
The barista nodded, apologizing once again as they excuse themselves and sat the cup on the
coffee table and left. I release a sigh as I walked over to the coffee table and took a sip of my
drink feeling the warm liquid burn its way to my stomach making me groan a little.
I turn my head to look at the blue penguin, their tired eyes concentrated on the title of each book.
I didn’t want to be a bother but for some odd reason I felt the need to talk to them. Once again,
the blue penguin caught me staring, our eyes lock at each other for the first time. What really
stood out from their gaze was deep bags underneath their eyes.
Feeling my face getting hot, I quickly broke eye contact and proceed drinking the steamed
beverage, causing them to laugh at my nervousness.
‘Hey, do you believe in ghosts?’
They asked out of the blue. I gave the stranger a confused gaze as I stopped myself from
drinking my beverage, for some reason I froze from my seat. I couldn’t mutter any words, for
some reason their question petrified me.
Why can’t I come up with an answer? It’s just a harmless question!
I looked closely at their face, expecting that they would crack a smile and playfully nudge me,
that they were kidding but it never happens. Their eyes were staring at my soul as they anxiously
waited for feedback.
I gulped, took a few breaths before looking back at her.
‘Are you like, um, searching for a book that talks about ghosts?’ I asked dodging the question, I
was preparing myself to get yelled at for doing that, but it never came, instead their smile widen
as if I just cracked a code.
‘Yes, I am!’
They smiled at me and continued their search at the bookshelf.
‘Oh, so like, you’re into horror stories?’
‘Something like that but I just can’t find the book that I’m searching for…”

(old version ew)

'Sorry for the mayhem that I've caused, by the way, names Bob. But many penguins calls me by the
name Stompin' Bob. What's yours?'

By just the mention of his name, somehow, the name Stompin'Bob repeated through my head
repeatedly until I was able to progress.

'Wait, you're Stompin'Bob? The Stompin'Bob? From the Penguin Band?!" I gasped loudly making him
chuckled a bit at my reaction.

'You're not the only one who gets that reaction.'

'Oh, I'm so sorry for being rude' I immediately apologized.

'No, don't be. I really did deserved to be scolded. Anyway, what's your name?' He smiled shyly which it
kinda surprised me, seeing the most famous rock star in Club Penguin is actually showing me his soft
side?! Unbelievable!

'Oh uh. My-my name is (y/n)' I stuttered, I mentally slapped myself at my stuttering while Bob smiled at
my answer. He brushed away the dust from his jacket and hid his flippers in his pockets.

'Well, (y/n), now that we know each other how about a nice slice of pizza as a treat of our hard work.'

I paused for a moment as he mentioned of the pizzeria. Memories started to flood in through the back
of my head and the first image that appeared was Rokos. I frown at the thought but quickly shook my
head remembering that I was dozing off in front of my idol.

'Oh um, yeah. Of course.' my voice cracked, I laid down my empty mug and calmly made our way
towards the Pizzeria but little did I know that something or someone was watching me from afar with
curiosity and confusion filling their mind wondering why I was still alive.
