Hello!

Thank you all for another great week in rehearsals!

If you haven’t noticed, lots of people have been getting sick recently. It is SUPER
IMPORTANT THAT IF YOU FEEL SICK YOU DO NOT COME TO REHEARSAL. While
your attendance is important it is more important that you are taking care of yourself.
This also means that it is EXTRA important to take care of yourself outside of rehearsal
by drinking enough water, eating enough, and getting enough sleep. If you do miss a
rehearsal due to illness please email an SM and a director so we can record it. Anything
you might’ve missed will be in the rehearsal notes for the day.

Reminders

1) Please turn in your contracts (they can be physical copies or digital is fine). Also, make sure
that you register for the show through the school and pay.

2) SENIORS please do the senior picture form AND the senior spotlight form. There are 2
separate forms and you have to do them both. IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE THEM YOU WILL
NOT HAVE A SENIOR PICTURE STAR WALL OR A SENIOR SPOTLIGHT.

3) If you are going to be gone please email an SM AND a director telling us that you are going
to be gone.

4) Your attendance is VERY IMPORTANT for the show. Every person's job has a direct impact
on the show, even if it doesn't always feel that way. Please make sure that you are coming to
rehearsals when you are called.

5) EVERYONE SHOULD READ THE SHOW. Understanding the show is important for EVERY
PERSONS JOB and the only way to understand the show is to READ IT.

Here is a quick overview of what we covered this week, if you missed anything check the google
classroom for the rehearsal notes.

Advertisement- contacting businesses for advertisements, email Tabby if you have any
questions

Sound/lights- labeled the mic table, finished watching the show, learned how to operate a
spotlight

Set- working on painting and building up the moving platforms

Costumes/props- pulling stuff from our storage that we didn’t get from the costume shoppe

Pit- group rehearsals, SINGERS COME IN ON TUESDAY

What’s going on next week!

1) Starting next Monday SMs will start collecting money for t-shirts and the all-day tech potluck.
It is $20 in total ($15 for the shirt and $5 for the food). If you have concerns about the food on
tech day talk to an SM. If you cannot be at tech day for whatever reason or have dietary
restrictions and are going to bring your own food, you do not need to pay $5. However, if you
don’t pay the $5, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO EAT ANY OF THE FOOD PROVIDED. PLEASE
ONLY GIVE MONEY TO SMS, NOT DIRECTORS. ALSO DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THE
PERSON YOU GAVE YOUR MONEY TOO UNTIL THEY MARK YOU DOWN IN SOME WAY.

2) We will start taking starwall pictures next week! EVERYONE HAS TO TAKE A STARWALL
PHOTO. EVEN IF YOU ARE A SENIOR YOU STILL HAVE TO TAKE ONE. Props/costume
crew will take there photos on Tuesday, October 9th. Lights/sound crew, set crew, and pit
members will take their on Thursday, October 12th.

3) Pit is called everyday except for Monday because of conferences and Dallas Brass.

4) Promotions is called Tuesday and Thursday to take starwall pictures. Props/costumes is

called Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Light crew is called Wednesday, and light and sound
crew is called Thursday. Set is called Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
