1 Overview of the experiment

1.1 Aim of the experiment
• Study the Hall Effect through distance variation between the hall sensor
and magnet

• Determine the bar magnet strength and calculate the doping concen-
tration of the hall element in the sensor based on experimental data

2 Method
The experiment involved applying an 8V DC voltage between the VCC and
GND terminals of the hall sensor. A multimeter measured output voltage,
and a setup with two breadboards, a 15cm scale, and magnets ensured pre-
cise distance recording. Magnet distances were varied, and output voltages
were noted. The process was repeated for different magnet configurations,
and current without a magnetic field was recorded. Output voltage versus
distance was plotted for all magnet polarities and quantities in a single plot.
