Learning English at school is often seen as more important than learning local languages.

If these are not

taught, many are at risk of dying out.

In your opinion, is it important for everyone to learn English? Should we try to ensure the survival of
local languages and, if so, how?

We can try to ensure the survival but it will be really survivor. Because most of the employers require
ielts or duolingo certificate. They should know about of our skills in order to their own work level. If one
day we must to make speech with somebody who has just English language and if we can`t to make
speech it will be bad for our company. And I think one of the important thing related to this topic is
internationality. Programs, meetings, document and others must be in international language. And we
know international language is English language. But imagine that we don’t know anything related to
English dictionary but we want to work with some company. What we can do? Firstly they will ask you
about your job and language skills. You should know second language, local language isn’t enough if you
aren’t English. But if you didn’t have any time in order to learn additional language you should know
everything about your profession. And you should be the best worker in your own profession. If I were
CEO and I want to employee someone, I would require high skills about your work It doesn’t matter for
me whether you know second language or not. Besides, these were about job satisfaction. But we must
protect our nationality and language is one of the most important thing of nationality. We must protect
and transmit our values (language) to next generations of our heritage. I have a lot of hesitation related
to that protection topic because high percentage of our nation has learned second language and forgot
their own and the remained part is learning. We shouldn’t forget that learning language had better to us
but we shouldn’t deny our own language.
