HISTORY :
• During Caroline Age in 1649 King Charles I was beheaded due to English Civil wars
• Interregnum period or Commonwealth period (1649_1660)
• No king in 11 years , ruled by Oliver Cromwell and puritans
• Restoration period (1660_1700) when Charles II came back to England from his exile
in France
• In 1649,England was declared as commonwealth
• From 1649 to 1651 Charles II ruled over Scotland
• In 1651, Scotland was declared as commonwealth
• From 1651_1660 Charles II fled to France and in 1660 he became the king of
England , Ireland and Scotland
• Charles II , James II , Mary II and William of Orange were the rulers in this age
