 The surface shall be Grinded, cleaned and all dust, foreign matters, loose materials
or any other deposits which causes contamination will be removed.
 Treating the corners and junction of Floor and Wall area by making side coving of
minimum 75mm x 75mm in CM 1:4 admixed with FOSROC WL Xtra @ dosage of 150-200
ml per 50kg bag of Cement. 12.5mm/20mm Coarse aggregates will be used to avoid the
shrinkage cracks.
(Dosage: The Optimum dosage is 200ml for 50kg of cement... as mentioned in TDS)
 Ponding test shall be done by filling the sunken area completely with water for a minimum
period of 24 hours to find out any leakages in joints/honeycombs.
 If there are any leakages, non-shrink grouting shall be done by providing and fixing GI
grouting nipples and Grouting shall be done with non-shrink cementitious grout (FOSROC
CEBEX 100@ dosage of 225gms per 50kg Cement) OR Opening the Surface Crack to a depth
of 20mm and Filling the Same With Non Shrink Grout FOSROC CONBEXTRA GP2 admixed
with Fosroc WL Xtra. Make sure that the surface will be free from all the seepages and
dampness.

8. BORE PACKING :

 Applying Cement and FOSROC WL Xtra paste on the Outer Surface of Pipe, And Then
Screening Sand on the Surface to make the Surface Rough. Provision for shear key will be
provided. To receive the packing grout properly.
 Plugging the Bore With Proper firm platform in vertical and horizontal direction,
Conbextra GP2, in a Pourable consistency form, place properly in a situated position
 Leakage inspection will be given simultaneously, if any leakages will happen, addressed and
closed by the above said procedure. Ensured that leakage/dampness free

9. WATER PROOFING COATING APPLICATION :

 Surface shall be water blasted/jetted 30 minutes before the application to remove dust
and to keep the surface damp for coating.
 After cleaning of the surface, Acrylic polymer modified cementitious based waterproof
Acrylic cementitious coating (preferable two coats) with minimum 1.2mm thickness. The
membrane should have minimum 40% elongation capacity with a water resistance,
capacity of 1.5 bars.,
 Acrylic waterproofing material will be of two components, Part A Powder component (23
Kg net weight per bag) and Part B liquid component (4.28 kg net weight or 4 Liter Liquid
container). These two components will be mixed base the prepared area to be applied,
The mixing procedure followed as per data sheet such as Add the power and liquid
component over the clean Vessel or tray and will be mixed about 2 to 4 minutes
continuously, it should be lump free (170 to 175 ml liquid will be mixed Per 1 KG of
Brushbond powder). The mixed product will be used immediately within that its pot life,
while placement also the material will be keep on mixing thoroughly. The first coat
thickness will be of minimum 1.2mm.
 After the completion of 1st coat application, surface shall be allowed to dry for a
minimum period of 4 hours.
 Second coat shall be applied at the same mixing ratio as first coat, but in perpendicular
directions to the previous coat, The thickness of applied coat will be of minimum of
1.2 mm thick, and the same coat will be carried upto 300mm on side walls above FFL
(sunken depth + 300mm above the FFL) for vertical part. And allowed to dry for a period
of 6-8 hours.
 Covers approximately 0.6 to 0.75 Sq. m/Kg at 1.2mm thickness in
each layer. Depending on the level of the substrate. (overall thickness
should be more than 2mm up to 4mm depends on exposure condition
as per TDS)
 After completing the Second coat and surface shall be protected by
plaster with CM 1:4 admixed with water proofing admixtures
CONPLAST WL Xtra @ dosage of 150-200 ml per 50kg bag of Cement.
And will be cured for a minimum period of 48 hours by water ponding,
Final ponding check will also give simultaneously, If any
leakages/dampness found will arrest by using Rendroc RG and recoat will
be applied as above said procedure. If leakages/ dampness not happened.
Protection screed will be placed
