PLATE 1: TOILET & BATH

INSTRUCTIONS:

PART 1

1. Supply the missing minimum dimensions of “Typical Three Fixture Plan C” from Minimum Fixture Clearances.pdf and draft it (manual and in ink) in an A3
size bondpaper. If you don’t have A3 bondpaper, you may tape two A4 or two short bondpapers together for a similar size.
2. Use scale 1:20M.

PART 2

3. Design a master T&B based on what you’ve learned on Module 3 – Plumbing Devices and the Minimum Fixture Clearances.
4. The master T&B should contain the following plumbing fixtures:
a. 2 Lavatories
b. 1 Water Closet
c. 1 Shower
d. 1 Bathtub
5. Draft a master T&B blow-up plan (manual and in ink) in the same A3 bondpaper complete with room dimensions and fixture clearances.
6. For the different plumbing symbols, see external link Plumbing Fixtures Legend. This can also be found under week 2 on Moodle. Research on the different
dimensions of the plumbing fixtures to get the clearances right.
7. Use scale 1:20m or 1:30m depending on how large your Master T&B is.
8. Scan your output or take a pic and submit it on Moodle.

For reference, here are examples of master T&Bs:
