My experience volunteering at an

Animal Shelter.
Since I was a child my mom and aunt rescued cats and dogs. They are
volunteers at HOPE, local Animal Shelter.

So I spend my free time volunteering with they, and it was probably the
best decision.

I used to keep Kittys for Mercado San Camilo, they live with us until they get
adopted, I donate food every month and go to the activities and sometimes it's
a hard experience.

I can tell you from firsthand experience the importance of donation for a
shelter's survival.

HOPE; has at least hundred animals, they need food, medications, towels,
and volunteers. there are so many other ways to contribute, raising money,
soliciting donations, or even helping out at the shelter.

We must learn that is better adopt than buy a pet, please don't buy, adopt a pet
and if you can donate food please do it, because every day more animals arrive
at the shelter, and it means the volunteers must work harder to keep them save.

When I visited Cusco to my grandma's house, we find a cat and her Kittys my
grandma doesn't care so much but I had to cry to keep and take them to
Arequipa, when we came back, we give the Kittys in adoption and sterilized the
mom so she can't have more Kittys In a future, we keep her, now she lives with
me and my family her name is Lucy, all the kitties get adopted.
