newspaper El País.
He has studied Literature and Law at the
Universidad National Mayor de San
Marcos.
He has worked as a professor of Spanish
American Literature at Queen Mary
College.
He has also worked as a translator for
UNESCO in Greece.
In 1994, he has been appointed member
of the Real Academia Española.
