* Rider Attachment NAP will come from OL and UL products with at least three (3) optional riders.

SCIC is open to all agents and agency leaders. An Assistant Unit Manager (AUM) and a Junior Unit Manager
(JUM) will participate in the SCIC as an agent.

An agency leader may qualify as an agent based on personal production or on team production. An agency
leader may also qualify on a lower agency leader position.

Early Qualification, Regular Qualification and Pocket Money Guidelines:

The Pocket Money Challenge and Early Qualification Periods are available only for the first seat.

For Early Qualification with Pocket Money, an agent or agency leader must meet NAP and Rider Attachment
NAP requirements before the end of the contest period. Other metrics (Cases, Persistency, New Recruits and
Average Active Agent) can be complied with by 31 December 2023. The amount of the pocket money will depend
on the month the contender met 100% of the SCIC qualification and Rider Attachment NAP as below:
• By YTD July 2023 : USD 750
• By YTD September 2023 : USD 500

The pocket money will be the PhP equivalent of USD values above, net of applicable withholding tax. This will be
credited to a qualifier’s payroll account, using the applicable exchange rate at the time of crediting. Crediting of
the pocket money is contingent on official qualification to the 2023 SCIC which means that the qualifier met all
SCIC parameters by 31 December 2023.

The pocket money is only payable once per person. It will not be paid on multiple qualification. For example, an
agency leader who qualifies early with pocket money for both the agent and agency leader level will only be paid
one pocket money.

Multiple Qualification:

An agent or agency leader may qualify for multiple seats subject to a maximum of four (4). The maximum
considers all possible qualification seats across all agency force levels. For example, a BM who qualifies for two
(2) seats as an agent on personal production, may still work two (2) more seats from any of his leader positions
(BM or UM).

Netting will be applied for an agency leader who qualifies as an agent or through a lower agency leader position.
Any NAP (qualification and rider attachment) used by the agency leader to qualify as an agent or for a lower
agency leader position will be carved out from qualification in a higher position.

2
REF.NO. AFAS23-018
RESTRICTED FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY. NOT FOR ONLINE POSTING.

The company will award the qualification level based on highest possible number of seats. As an example, a BM
who qualifies for 2 seats as UM OR 1 seat as BM shall be awarded the 2 UM seats. In this example, the
persistency requirement shall be on personal, unit (seat qualification) and branch (highest appointment) levels.

Extra seats will require the equivalent multiple of qualification NAP and Rider Attachment NAP requirements at
Regular Qualification Parameters. These do not require an increase in case count, new recruit and average
monthly active agent requirement.

Elite Qualification

Agency members will have a choice between applying his NAP credits to Regular + Elite destinations OR more
seats to the Regular Destination. Alternatively, he can apply his NAP credits to Regular + Elite destinations and
any excess NAP shall be applied to the Regular Destination.

An elite seat means that the qualifier is entitled to both the Regular and Elite destinations.

Regular NAP Crediting:

Regular NAP requirement (e.g. 4,750,000 under agent level) is the total issued NAP from all business lines and
from all transactions regardless of submission date, case size and attachment or non-attachment of optional
riders. NAP will come from issued new businesses including all transactions such as endorsements, top-ups,
endorsements, cancellations, lapses and reinstatements effected during the contest period regardless of base
plan submission and first issue date.

Rider Attachment NAP Crediting:

Rider Attachment NAP requirement (e.g. 950,000 under agent level is already included in the 4,750,000
qualification NAP) is 20% of the regular NAP requirement.

Rider Attachment NAP credit will come from OL and UL products with at least three (3) optional riders. These are
all available plans with the exception of the following: PruMillionaire, A&H plans and stand-alone critical illness
products.

The riders that will be included in the count of three (3) optional riders for the Rider Attachment NAP credit may
be any of the available riders except the following:
◼ Riders such as TPD and ADD which are core riders or core benefits of regular-pay and limited-pay unit-
linked plans (except in the case of the PruHealth Prime as TPD and ADD are optional riders in this
product)
◼ VL top-up rider* made to PruMax Invest and PruLife your Term
*rider premium status must be paid

The optional riders must be in-force optional riders as at 31 December 2023.

Positive endorsements made to a 2023 UL issued policy whereby the addition of riders was made after base plan
issuance will result to a Rider Attachment NAP credit adjustment, provided such amendment was effected during
the contest period. As an example, where a product was issued with only one (1) or two (2) optional rider/s hence
not included in the rider attachment NAP, when amended to have a complement of three (3) optional riders will
result to rider attachment NAP credits.

Rider Attachment NAP will come from issued new businesses including all transactions such as endorsements,
top-ups, positive / negative, endorsements, cancellations, lapses and reinstatements made on the above
protection products that are effected during the contest period regardless of base plan submission date.

New recruits and Average Active Agents

Basis of new recruits is net recruitment count; where new agents coded during the contest period who were
delisted in the same period will be deducted from recruitment credits.

Basis for determining whether the agent was activated shall be net issued case count during the month.

REF.NO. AFAS23-018
RESTRICTED FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY. NOT FOR ONLINE POSTING.

Agency leaders with recruitment and/or AAA shortfall will still be able to qualify to SCIC contingent on the
following:
◼ Recruitment and AAA achievement in 2023 must have been at least 75% of the SCIC new recruit count/
AAA target
◼ Each lacking recruitment credit has been compensated with PhP 100,000 SCIC qualification NAP where
PhP 20,000 of the 100K is rider-attachment NAP. For example, a BM who lacks 5 new recruits to qualify
as a BM should have an additional branch issued NAP of PhP 500,000 where PhP 100,000 is rider-
attachment NAP.
◼ Each lacking active agent count has been compensated with PhP 100,000 SCIC qualification NAP
where PhP 20,000 of the 100K is rider-attachment NAP. For example, a UM with an AAA of 14 short of
the 15 AAA means that he needs to have activated 12 agents throughout 2023 (1 AA per month). This
UM should have an additional unit issued NAP of PhP 1,200,000 where PhP 240,000 is rider-
attachment NAP.
◼ The NAP used to compensate recruitment and/or AAA shortfall is over and above the SCIC qualification
and rider-attachment NAP targets.
◼ This privilege is capped at one (1) SCIC seat; regardless of level.

Case Count

Case count will consider all business lines provided issued within January 1-December 31, 2023. Refer to the
case count crediting guidelines in the PruRewards House Rules for further details.

Agents and agency leaders (on personal production) with case count shortfall will still be able to qualify to SCIC
contingent on the following:
◼ Case count achievement in 2023 must have been at least 75% of the SCIC case count target (18 cases)
◼ Each lacking CC credit has been compensated with PhP 100,000 SCIC qualification NAP where PhP
20,000 of the 100K is rider-attachment NAP. For example, an agent who lacks 3 CC to qualify should
have an additional issued NAP of PhP 300,000 where PhP 60,000 is rider-attachment NAP.
◼ The NAP used to compensate CC shortfall is over and above the SCIC qualification and rider-
attachment NAP targets.
◼ This privilege is capped at one (1) SCIC seat; regardless of level.

Persistency Requirements:

Agents and agency leaders must meet persistency requirements prescribed for SCIC qualification. These
requirements are enumerated as follows:
• Personal Persistency: 85%
• Unit Persistency: 83%
• Branch Persistency: 80%
• Area Persistency: 80%
• District Persistency: 80%

Agency leaders qualifying to SCIC via team production must satisfy both personal and team persistency. The
persistency requirement that will be required shall be based on the level qualified for. Refer to examples below
for more details:
o BM qualified as agent: will be required to validate personal PR only
o BM qualified as UM: will be required to validate personal PR and unit PR only
o BM qualified as BM: will be required to validate personal PR and branch PR

PRUone contest crediting rules:PRUone and non-PRUone businesses will get 100% contest credit. This
guideline will apply until further notice.

* Contest credits being referred to here are those that relate to APE, NAP, case count and active agent count; to
the exclusion of all other production-based contest parameters.
* Issued businesses from other digital platforms outside of PRUone such as those from PULSE, PRUshoppe and
PRUshoppe in PULSE will get 100% contest credit (except digital bite-sized, digital microinsurance and GCash
products).

All other transactions (lapsations, reinstatements, cancellations, endorsements and top-ups) will follow the
production credit of the base plan = whether PRUone or non-PRUone.

Any carryover business from 2022 will be counted for 2023 provided they have not been considered for 2022
incentives, contests or recognition.

PROTECTION DRIVE

Destination: Dubai
Inclusive Dates: 1 January to 31 October 2023

Qualifying Requirements:
ISSUED # OF PROTECTION PERSISTENCY
LEVEL ISSUED NAP CASE COUNT SELLERS PERSONAL TEAM
Agent 1,200,000 12 n/a 85% --
UM 7,500,000 n/a 25 85% 83%
BM 30,000,000 n/a 120 85% 80%
AM 100,000,000 n/a 360 85% 80%
DM 290,000,000 n/a 1,080 85% 80%

Maximum of 4 seats can be won in the Protection Drive. Multiple qualification will only require the equivalent
multiple of issued NAP requirement and not the issued case count and number of protection sellers’ requirement.

Agency leaders may qualify on highest appointment or at branch-level or via personal production. This means
that UMs and BMs may qualify as UMs and BMs respectively or as personal producers. Meanwhile, AMs and
DMs may qualify on highest appointment (as AMs and DMs, respectively), or as BMs, or as personal producers.

Leaders appointed in 2023 as UMs, BMs, AMs or DMs will be able to compete in their highest appointment and in
a previous role. Contest credits when competing in the new role shall be from appointment date up to the end of
the contest period. Contest credits when competing in a previous role shall be for entire contest period.

Netting will be applied for a 2023 appointed agency leader who qualifies in his highest appointment and in his
previous role. NAP used by the agency leader to qualify in a lower agency leader position after his appointment
will be carved out from his qualification in a higher position.

Products that will be considered as contest credits are protection plans which are the following:
• PAA variants: PAAPlus, PAA Low Premium and PAA Worksite
• OL plans: PRUMax Invest, PRUTerm15, PruLife your Term, PRULife, PRUHealth FamLove
• A&H plans: PA Stand-alone, PRUwellness, PRUshield and stand-alone critical illness products
(LCP, LCAP and MLCP)
• Limited Pay UL: Pru Elite Protector 15, Elite Protector 10 and PRUHealth Prime
• Group plans: Enterprise Business

Issued NAP

Issued NAP refers to the Total NAP from issued protection products as mentioned above, regardless of
submission dates and case size, including endorsements (positive or negative), reinstatement and net of
cancellations and lapsations effected during the contest period.

Issued Case Count

The following shall apply in determining the number of case count:

a. New businesses from products covered in the contest (except A&H) shall be given 1 case count credit
provided base plan sum assured of the new business is at least PhP 2,200,000*.

b. New businesses from products covered in the contest (except A&H) with less than PhP 2,200,000 sum
assured will be accumulated to determine case count whereby the following computation shall be used:

Cumulative sum assured from these cases

2,200,000

Quotient shall be rounded-down to the nearest whole number.

*Sum assured of covered or applicable new business products that are issued during the contest period. It will
exclude sum assured from single premium businesses, A&H plans, all types of top-ups and sum assured
provided by riders**.
5
REF.NO. AFAS23-018
RESTRICTED FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY. NOT FOR ONLINE POSTING.

**Sum assured from riders, whether accelerated or non-accelerated, such as Life Care Plus, Additional Term and
Payor Term are excluded. If due to the addition of riders, total premium increased resulting to increased base
plan sum assured, such base plan sum assured will be considered in determining the average sum assured.

Amendments made to the base plan resulting to increased sum assured will be considered in determining case
count credits provided base plan issue date and sum assured amendment date are within the contest period.

For Enterprise Business, sum assured is determined by accumulating the total sum assured from all lives
covered in the EB account. One (1) EB account covering a number of lives will be assigned one (1) protection
case count credit; subject to sum assured guidelines. The agent who issued this EB account and who earned a
protection CC credit will also be counted as a protection seller for purposes of determining leader qualification.

Case count credits shall be net of cancellations, lapses and reinstated cases.

Sum assured of dollar policies shall be based on system conversion rate. As an example, a new business issued
in April 5, 2023 will be based on April 2023 system dollar conversion rate.

A joint case regardless of the sum assured will have to be complemented by another joint case to complete the
case count credit. A fraction of case count credits will not be rounded up.

Number of Protection Sellers

Number of Protection Sellers is the number of ‘distinct’ agents in the team who have produced at least one (1)
issued protection case as defined in the case count rule (based on sum assured) described above. A manager
with personal production will be counted in this category. The protection seller must have an active appointment
status in the system by 31 October 2023.

In validating the number of protection sellers in the team, hierarchy upon issuance of the FIRST protection
policy/ies shall be used.

As an example, please refer to scenario below for an agent affiliated with Branch A but then became aligned
under Branch B upon the Branch Manager appointment of BM B.
a. Agent became a Protection Seller prior to BM B’s appointment – number of protection seller credit goes
to BM A’s branch
b. Agent became a Protection Seller after BM B’s appointment – number of protection seller credit goes to
BM B’s branch.

Basis therefore is policy hierarchy upon issuance of the first protection policy. If first protection policy sold by the
agent is below PhP 2.2M sum assured but over time was accumulated to reach PhP 2.2M sum assured, the
protection seller credit goes to the BM hierarchy of the first issued policy notwithstanding if the subsequently sold
policies were under the new BM hierarchy.

Persistency Requirements:
Agents and agency leaders must meet persistency requirements prescribed for Protection Drive qualification.
These requirements are enumerated as follows:
• Personal Persistency: 85%
• Unit Persistency: 83%
• Branch Persistency: 80%
• Area Persistency: 80%
• District Persistency: 80%

Agency leaders qualifying to the Protection Drive via team production must satisfy both personal and team
persistency. The persistency requirement that will be required shall be based on the level qualified for. Refer to
examples below for more details:
o BM qualified as agent: will be required to validate personal PR only
o BM qualified as UM: will be required to validate personal PR and unit PR only
o BM qualified as BM: will be required to validate personal PR and branch PR

PRUone contest crediting rules:

The PC Qualifiers must have also qualified to the 2023 Achiever’s Club for

Leaders will compete on highest appointment except for AM-GAs or DM-GAs

who will qualify as BM-GAs.

The recognition is open to GA Owners and GA Contributors (Lead GA

Contributors) assigned to lead a GA satellite office considering that both were
validated for GA appointment.

In determining the NAP ranking among UM-GAs and BM-GAs, the total team
NAP will include team NAP coming from all GA team contributors. The
performance results of all GA contributors assigned in the principal and
satellite GA office shall be credited to the GA Special Awards contest
validation of the GA Owner and the Lead GA Contributor, respectively.

Tie-breaker provision:

1st Level: Issued case count using YTD Dec 2023 production covering OL/UL
cases with PhP 36,000 NAP per case. Top-ups will be included subject to
usual case count crediting rules where a PhP 10,000 top-up NAP will be given
a case count credit.

2nd Level: Issued NAP growth rate (YTD 2023 versus YTD 2022)

If a qualifier has made it to the President’s Club 2023 via multiple methods, the PC slot goes to the next in line in

3. Number of New Lives
4. Most number of new HNW clients
5. PRULeads conversions

7. Number of direct recruits
8. PRUVenture validating agent count
9. Number of New UMs appointed
10. Count of MDRTs in the team
11. Top BM/UM-GA

This means that if a qualifier has made to the PC via NAP and via number of new UMs appointed in 2023, his
NAP ranking shall be retained and rank adjustments shall instead be made to the number of new UMs category.

A President’s Club Pocket Money (USD 500.00 net of applicable withholding tax) shall be given to the qualifier
who has made it to PC via multiple methods, for every slot given up to the next-in-line agency member.

As an example, an agency leader qualifying in NAP, in MDRT count and in number of new UMs who will forfeit
his PC slot in MDRT count and new UM count, shall be awarded instead a pocket money of USD 1,000.

All 2023 President’s Club qualifiers will also be receiving a recognition plaque.

the exclusion of all other production-based contest parameters.

Participation to the PC will be limited to qualifiers declared by the company. In the event of a qualifier’s
unavailability for the trip or in the event of disqualification due to failure to meet revalidation requirements, the slot

The AC for Managers is open to all agency leaders; they will compete based on their highest appointment as
leaders as of 31 December 2023. For example, an AM will be considered for the AC for Managers as an AM and
will not be allowed to compete at BM and UM levels.

However, in a given production year, an agency leader who qualifies in a lower category prior to his appointment
to a higher agency leader position will not be made to forfeit his qualification. Additionally, he can also be eligible
anew to the AC for Managers in the higher category during the same production year. There will be no pro-rata
qualification for managers installed in a new role during the year.

Agency leaders must meet personal persistency requirements and team persistency requirements at his highest
appointment and the particular agency leader position he has qualified for. These requirements are enumerated
as follows:
• Personal Persistency: 85%
• Unit Persistency: 83%
• Branch Persistency: 80%
• Area Persistency: 80%
• District Persistency: 80%

For instance, a newly-appointed BM who qualified at unit and branch-level needs to comply with Personal, Unit
(direct) and Branch Persistency requirements for AC for Managers qualification.

An Assistant Unit Manager (AUM) and a Junior Unit Manager (JUM) will not compete in the AC for Managers.

All 2023 UM to DM Bronze to Titanium Honor Club qualifiers will also be receiving a recognition plaque.

Furthermore, all 2023 UM to DM Silver to Titanium Honor Club qualifiers who:

a. have not qualified to 2023 SCIC either as an agency leader or as a producer; and
b. have not qualified to 2023 Senior Achiever to Star Achiever – Agent Honor Club
…will also be eligible to participate in the Achiever’s Club Summit (overnight local trip).

Non-participation to the AC Summit shall result to forfeiture of the reward thus, cannot be converted to cash.
Neither can the reward be passed on to another agency member. The event shall be organized per sector which
also means that agency leader AC Summit qualifiers will have the trip convention alongside the agent AC Summit
qualifiers of the same sector. An Achievers’ Club Summit leader qualifier whose uplines are affiliated with
different sectors / Sales Directors shall participate in only one (1) AC Summit event of the corresponding sector
using branch affiliation as basis.

• New lives refer to the life insured under the policy and must be a first-time life insured client in Pru Life
UK where the issue date of such first policy is between January 1 and December 31, 2023.
• Each unique life is counted only once. Hence, if a Life is covered under several policies, he will be

shared business between 2 agents will have 0.50 new lives credit for each agent).
• There is no APE requirement for a Life to be counted for contest purposes.
• Covered plans are all business lines where OL/UL businesses get 1:1 new life credit while A&H plans
get 3:1 new life credit; except digital bite-sized, digital microinsurance and GCash products.
• Orphan adoptions are not counted as new lives.
• Reinstatement of a lapsed policy will not result in a new life for the reinstating agent.
• PAA Worksite and Worksite Plus plans are included since these are individual policies. Basis shall be
the number of insureds and not the policy owner. The count of insured persons will correspond to the
count of new lives covered.
• Individual policies resulting from employer-paid programs will be counted as contest businesses; these
are policies that are registered in the Pru Life UK systems.
• Lives under group programs (group life and group PA) are not counted as only lives under individual
policies are included.
• If a new client purchased multiple policies from different servicing agents during the contest period,
credit will be given to the servicing agent of the first issued policy. In case issue dates are similar, basis
shall be the policy number wherein the lower policy number will be deemed as having been issued

has been in force. Top-up amounts are not to be accumulated in determining case count credits.

Plans that are renewed will not be given APE, NAP, case count and activation contest credits.

Unless otherwise specified, where the basis is total issued production (NAP or APE), this will cover all business
lines and all transactions (issued new businesses, cancellations, top-ups, endorsements*, etc) issued during the
contest period, regardless of submission date and regardless of when the base plan was first issued.

increased sum assured or addition of optional riders resulted to an increase in premium.

Dollar plans paid in dollars or paid in peso via the special dollar facility shall be converted to peso value in
determining the APE or the NAP. The dollar conversion rate shall be assigned by the system based on prevailing
market rates for the period.

Netting applied on the month of lapse / cancellation / reinstatement rather than on the month the lapsed /
cancelled plan was issued.

Any carryover business from 2022 will be counted for 2023 provided they have not been considered for 2022
incentives, contests or recognition.

Treatment for AUMs/JUMs and new leader appointments

An AUM/ JUM may only compete or participate in Pru Rewards as an agent based on his personal NAP.

NAP will be reckoned exactly from the date of appointment of a new manager. When applicable, carving-out rule
will be applied where the contest parameter requires growth rate for leaders who have spun-off teams. This
means, team production of organic new leaders shall be carved-out from the mother agency leader who spun-off
this daughter team.

Applicable and current hierarchy will be used to determine new recruit, manpower and active agent credits for
leader qualification.

a. From the appointment month of a new UM, all recruits and active agents shall be credited to the new
UM. On the months preceding the appointment month of the new UM, these credits will be with the
existing UM.

b. As an example, if an AUM became a UM on May 18, 2023, all recruits of this AUM from Jan to Apr 2023
shall be credited to the Mother UM. Meanwhile, all recruits of this AUM (now a UM) from May 1, 2023 to
December 31, 2023 shall be counted towards the new UM’s qualification.

The same applies to active agents and manpower.

Current year-appointed inorganic leaders will be allowed to compete as agents and as leaders provided agent
appointment year is also within 2023.

Treatment for Delisted Agents

Delisted agents who are coded in the current year will be deducted from the recruitment credit.

33
REF.NO. AFAS23-018
RESTRICTED FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY. NOT FOR ONLINE POSTING.

Businesses issued and other transactions effected under a delisted agent prior to his termination date will be
considered as contest credits on activation and case count.

There will be no deduction on production from delisted agents provided that the business is still in force as APE
considers endorsements and cancellations while NAP considers both these items including lapsations and
reinstatements.

Treatment for Reinstated Agents

Reinstated agents will be excluded as contest credits for new recruits.

However, reinstated agents whose last delistment date is at least five (5) years ago shall be included in the new
recruits credit of the agent/leader recruiter’s and upline managers’ qualification. Credit will go to the reinstating
recruiter and agency leader regardless of the reinstated agent’s previous branch affiliation.

Persistency

Agents must meet personal persistency requirements for qualification. Agency leaders must satisfy both
personal persistency requirements; and when qualifying based on team production, must also satisfy the team
persistency requirement for the level qualified for. Refer to examples below for more details:

o BM qualified as agent: will be required to validate personal PR only

o BM qualified as UM: will be required to validate personal PR and unit PR only
o BM qualified as BM: will be required to validate personal PR and branch PR

A personal persistency of below 85% or 0% will be considered for the incentive provided that:

• This is due to zero personal production or sales of single premium / A&H products alone or a decrease
in personal production; AND
• The agent’s or agency leader’s persistency was not based on lapsed first year policy/ies or first year
policy/ies undergoing unit cancellation during the corresponding study period.

The team persistency of Mother UMs / BMs and AMs shall be reckoned at Mother Team Persistency basis which
means that the transactions of all daughter manager teams shall be included in the persistency computation. This
is in consideration of the mother overrides provided to UMs - AMs who have spun-off daughter teams.

Contest revalidation for Pru Life UK-sponsored and implemented agency incentive trip convention

a. On NAP
NAP used for qualification under all annual incentive trips (e,g. SCIC, Protection Drive, President’s Club,
Prudential Agency Leaders’ Conference, etc.) must be maintained for at least 6 months after the
conclusion of the contest period. For instance, 2023 SCIC will be revalidated by July 2024 based on
NAP reductions from January to June 2024. If upon revalidation, the NAP is found to have fallen below
the minimum contest requirement due, but not limited, to the reasons mentioned below, the agent or
agency leader will be disqualified from joining the incentive trip resulting to either dislodging or clawback
without the need for a signed ‘Authority to Clawback’:
• Cancellation;

34
REF.NO. AFAS23-018
RESTRICTED FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY. NOT FOR ONLINE POSTING.

• Lapsation; and
• Negative endorsements (e.g. premium reduction, removal of rider, partial withdrawal, full surrender,
etc.)

NAP reduction, for the same reasons, may also affect qualification to an award or recognition. NAP
revalidation will be undertaken the month immediately prior the schedule of award or recognition
release. If the NAP reduction adversely affected qualification, this may result to downgrading or even
revocation of award or recognition.

Reinstatements of lapsed policies that affected the agent’s qualification will be considered provided such
reinstatement transactions were effected on or before the conclusion of the NAP revalidation period.

Note: SCIC NAP credited to the incentive to compensate for lacking case count, recruitment and/or
activation, for those who qualified via the SCIC shortfall requirement, will be included in the NAP for
revalidation.

b. On Persistency

For incentive trips, the persistency requirement will be revalidated two (2) months after the contest
period. For instance, if the contest period is from January to October 2023, persistency will be
revalidated on January 2024 using December 2023 persistency results.

Failure to maintain the required persistency rate will lead to disqualification/dislodgment from the
incentive trip, recognition or awards or contest cost claw-back, whichever is applicable.

Persistency rates to be revalidated will be personal persistency, highest appointment team persistency
and the team persistency for the level qualified for. A manager who has failed his team persistency
revalidation will be deemed to have not satisfied this criterion notwithstanding a personal production
exceeding 20% of the regular qualification NAP requirements.

MDRT / GAMA incentives meanwhile, relate to sponsorship of costs for an event hosted by an external
organization and relates only to the meeting fee, airfare, hotel, etc. and hence not subject to revalidation.

The following performance metrics are not subject to revalidation: rider-attachment NAP, number of recruits,
average active agents, protection sellers, among others.

Qualitative Criteria

Sales disciplinary sanctions such as suspension of the right to sell / license carries a prescriptive period
beginning on the first day of the suspension period. Said prescriptive period is equivalent to the length of the
suspension period. Within such period, the agency member will not qualify to contests, recognition, incentives
and/or trips. The prescriptive period will affect all contests where the contest period ends during the prescriptive
period.

Agents who have been alleged to have committed malpractice cases and where the case is still undergoing
evaluation may still qualify to contests on the presumption of innocence until proven otherwise.

An agent or agency leader who qualified to a contest, recognition, incentive and/or trip is still entitled to such,
provided the contest period of such incentive/s to which the agent qualified to ended prior to his
suspension/prescriptive period, even if rewards settlement happens during his suspension period.

The prescriptive period will apply notwithstanding an appeal filed by the agency member contesting the case
decision, resolution or sanction. If an appeal is approved and the suspension was lifted earlier than schedule,
then adjustments to the prescriptive period will also be made to reflect the revised length of such suspension.

Other quality metrics

a. On Cross-selling: Selling to another agent or to a fellow agent’s spouse/children is permitted. However,

the sale will not be credited for contest purposes. If it is also found that an agent has sold a policy to a
fellow agent, spouse or child of a fellow agent which has lapsed within the 13-month period after the
sale, no future sales to fellow agents, spouse or child of a fellow agent will be allowed for this Agent.

b. Splitting of cases is not allowed. This involves the splitting of one application to numerous cases bearing
the same details as below:
b.1 Same life insured and policyowner details
b.2 Same plan currency
b.3 Same product grouping*
b.4 First issued date falls within the same calendar month
b.5 Sold by the same agent

Cases ascertained as split cases** will be counted as one case count credit or active agent count credit
for contest qualification.

*The following table below indicates the product groupings:

Product grouping Plans
Traditional Life – Life PRULife, PRUMax Invest, PRULife Your Term
Traditional Life – Life and Health PRUHealth FamLove
Traditional Life - Group Enterprise Business
Regular Pay Unit-linked PAA Plus, PAA Low, PAA Worksite

Limited Pay Unit-Linked – Life and Health PRUHealth Prime
Single Premium PRUMillionaire, PRULink Investor Account Plus

**If all conditions from b.1 to b.5 apply, then the cases involved shall be tagged as split cases.

c. On appointment status - The contests, recognition programs and trip incentives contained in this
document are limited to agents/agency leaders with valid agency appointments by the end of the contest
period. Any qualifier whose agency appointment becomes invalid at the time of contest settlement will
forfeit his contest qualification.

d. Anyone may be considered as a qualified agency incentive trip guest or companion except:
• Agents or agency leaders who did not qualify for the trip;
• Agents or agency leaders who are not in good standing* with Pru Life UK;
• Pru Life UK direct clients (insured and/or policyowner with an in-force PLUK policy) of the qualifier
bringing along the guest or companion;
• Prospective clients**; and
• Relatives of co-agents whether such co-agents are qualifiers or otherwise.

*Agents who are joining trip incentives as guests or paying companions must be of good standing with
Pru Life UK. Agents who are currently serving the penalty of contest disqualification or under
suspension / prescriptive period are not allowed as guests nor paying companions.
In case of a pending complaint, the agent or agency leader may still join the trip as guest or paying
companion on the presumption of innocence until proven otherwise.

**A prospective client is defined as an individual who becomes a direct client of the qualifier whether as
an insured or policy owner within one (1) year from the date of the trip. In such an instance, the finding
shall be reported to Financial Crimes for investigation on alleged Rebates and Remunerations as
defined in the Disciplinary Matrix. Substituted trip participation is not allowed. This means you can only
bring along a companion if you will also be present during the incentive trip.

However, a non-qualifying agent or agency leader, a direct client, prospect or relative of a fellow agent
can be considered as an official or paying companion if they are:

• Related to the qualifier up to the 4th degree of consanguinity such as parents, children, siblings,
grandparents, grandchildren, uncles/aunts, nephews/nieces, great grandparents, great
grandchildren and first cousins; or
• Related to the qualifier up to the 2nd degree of affinity such as spouse, stepchildren, stepparents,
parents-in-law, and children-in-law.
