Writing quiz

Exercise 1: The following email about a prank on a friend has been shuffled. Put
them in the correct order and then list them into their appropriate criteria listed
below. (4 points)
Hi Marco,
A: We had a blast at the party afterward, even though I do feel a bit guilty now for
putting him on an emotional rollercoaster ride like that but it was worth it to see how
Cody reacted.
B: Hope you are doing well at your new school. I’m emailing you this to tell you
about a pretty funny prank that we played on Cody’s birthday last week. You already
know that Cody had always been wanting a new skateboard, so I decided to get him
one but with a little surprise. At Cody’s birthday party, when I was about to give him
his present, I intentionally tripped, fell and broke his new skateboard.
C: After laughing so hard, I pulled out his new skateboard from under the sofa and
gave it to Cody. Cody was still in shock when I gave him his real present but we both
had a good laugh out of it.
D: I wish you could see the look on his face when the skateboard broke in half, his
jaw dropped to the ground, he looked kind of pissed off at that point. No worries
though because that was just an old skateboard of mine.
Your pal,
Chris.
