WEEK 2
Theme: The Word of GOD
Topic: DOS AND DON’TS – Deuteronomy 4:6
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES – That each pupil might know that they
have to obey the instructions of God for their benefit and
wisdom.
MEMORY VERSE: Deuteronomy 4:6 NKJV
“Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your
wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the
peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say,
'Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding
people”

God gives us His instructions to obey for our benefits (Isaiah

1:19). The word of God is a covenant word that comes with
blessings and curses (Deuteronomy 30:15-19). The devil has
deceived the world to think the instructions of God will not let
them enjoy their lives (Revelation 12:9). When we are obeying
the word of God we are practicing the principles of God to
receive His blessings but if we disobey His curses (Isaiah 1:19-
20). Choose to fear God and always obey His words and when
others fail you will succeed (Deuteronomy 4:6; Joshua 1:8)

Week 3
Theme: Wisdom of God
Topic: ASSOCIATION – Proverbs 13:20
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES – That each pupil might know that
their life result is a product of their association
MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 13:20 GNT
“Keep company with the wise and you will become
wise. If you make friends with stupid people, you will
be ruined”

If you want to be wise, then walk with wise people. As social

being we are influenced by people around us. When you are
choosing your friends you are choosing your future (Proverbs
12:26). You association will form your believes, your believes
will firm your habits and character. That is what determine
what you will be in life (2 Corinthians 5:14-16). There are
distance association, close association and intimate association.
Don’t be intimate with the unwise (1 Corinthians 15:33 GNT).

Theme: Purpose
Topic: DEVELOPING YOUR FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: That the pupil might know that they
are responsible to develop their relationship with God by
drawing closer to God
MEMORY VERSE: James 4:8 NKJV
“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your
hearts, you double-minded”
As children of God, each of us can be as close to God as we
choose to be. Like other friendship you must choose to develop
your friendship with God by: (1) Decide to always be honest
with God (Job 42:7b (Msg); Exodus 33:12 ). (2) Choose to
always obey God by faith (John 15:14). (3) You must value
what God values (1 Corinthians 11:2: Psalm 69:9). (4) You
must desire your friendship with God above anything else (Luke
14:26).
