Character Creation should go as follows:

(these do not have to be in precise order of course, just all of these

steps involved etc)

1. Choose your Race (if you choose a race directly from a core book, drop the
ability scores from that spread. Ability score is modified by Culture instead. You
may keep the rest. My advice is to choose ancestries from any of the Ancestry &
Culture books.)
2. Choose your Clan (Marrowbite, Hexclaw, Goldfang, Shadowsong, and Bloodwrath).
3. Choose your culture (document provided, all characters have a culture from this
list).
4. Roll your stats. We will be using the following method:
1. Roll 3d6 4 times, add them, and that is your stat total. For two of your
stats, you may roll 4d6, subtract your lowest dice from each pool, and add the
remaining three together. No stat will be higher than an 18 at this point.
2. Alternatively, you may use a standard array with the following numbers: 8,
10, 12, 13, 14, 15.

13, 14, 15, 16.
5. Note skill, weapon, armor, and saving throw proficiencies, as well as any
cantrips or items granted by your culture choice.
6. Select your family background.
7. Select your class. (All base classes allowed. Blood Hunter is limited to Clan
Bloodwrath; Artificer and Gunslinger are limited to Clan Hexclaw.) All characters
start at level 1 for our first session.
8. Take a reputation sheet. If you chose one of the two backgrounds that begin with
lowered reputation, instructions will be provided to you on how to complete your
sheet.
9. Take a copy of your clan reputation sheet.
10. Choose two connections. Each player may have one connection from another clan
at most. Connections are pre established, and will provide your character with
unique advantages depending on who they chose. We will work out the nature of your
connection. You may choose any character listed in the connection document, as long
as they are not taken by another player.
11. Choose your desire. Fulfilling your desire during play will grant you a
powerful bonus.
