Dear Mr Klopp,
With reference to your advertisement on Facebook, I am interested in applying for the
position of summer tourist guide.
I am a sophomore in university and my major is English, so I can use English quite fluently.
Besides, I’ve just completed my certificate in Chinese course; therefore, I can use this
language if I have a chance.
Despite my lack of formal work experience, I feel that I would be well suited for the position
for two reasons. First off, I’ve taken part in a group of charitable organizations and another
club to enhance my social skills, meet new people, and make friends with them since the first
year. I was described by the team leader as sociable and friendly. The second is that I lived in
Buon Me Thuat City until I was 18 years old, and I had lots of chances to discover many
attractions in my city.
My summer holiday lasts from June to September. I will have no other commitments and will
be available to work during this time.
