C:— Good afternoon, while waiting for the seminar to start, please be reminded to settle down
in your respective seats. Observe silence at all times and if you have any question in the
duration of the seminar, save those for the Question-and-Answer portion later. Lastly, please be
attentive for today’s seminar. Thank you.

PRELIMINARIES

A: Faculty, Guests, and Interns, please stand up and give a moment of silence for our prayer
and remain standing for the singing of the national anthem and the UC hymn.

C: Good afternoon to our dear faculty members and our special guests today.
A: And of course, good afternoon to our fellow Interns. We are your hosts for today’s seminar.
I am ANGELO MAHALAIL…
C: And I am CHELSEA OMELA, here to introduce you to our second face-to-face seminar as
Criminology Interns. Before anything else, let us also acknowledge the presence of our 3
handsome faculty members on behalf of our Dean, we have our NSTP ROTC Adviser,Mr. Dolan
James Toledo,our SIPP Coordinator, Mr. Joseph P. De La Cerna and our very own Criminology
Intern Commandant, Mr. Ronald E. Tuason. A round of applause.

A: Speaking of our guest agency karon partner ba, first time in our almost 4yrs here in UCB
college of criminology na makaconduct jud sila og seminar diri, right?
C: You’re correct partner, we are more than grateful that this event is actually happening during
our internship program. However, this seminar will never happen pud nuon without the warm
support of the agency we invited.
A: Mao jud partner and makita jud sa mga nawng sa mga interns na how interested they are to
know more about the core roles and functions of this agency.
C: Speaking of interest, I know excited na mo na maminaw sa ato guest speakers for this
afternoon na knowledgeable and trained. BUT, interns kahibaw ba mo kinsa na government
agency ato guest for this afternoon?* (Audience engagement)* Alright sakto mo no it is the
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency or commonly called as PDEA, wherein this activity is
entitled as PDEA, Building a Drug-Free Future, Seminar on Preventing and Enforcement
A: However, before we introduce them let us first call our very supporting and hardworking
ADVISER/COMMANDANT Mr. Ronald E. Tuason for his Welcome Remarks at the same time
his inspirational message. A big round of applause please.

WELCOME REMARKS - SIR TUASON

C: Thank you for that wonderful welcoming address Sir Tuason. At this juncture, let me call in
the new addition to the Crim Faculty and the newly-appointed as NSTP ROTC Adviser, Mr.
Dolan James Toledo who will introduce the speakers for today’s webinar.

names of the speakers) Thank you, dear speakers, for sharing such valuable knowledge. Now,

C: Alright, I guess all of your questions were already answered and I hope that we’ve learned
something useful that hopefully by next semester PDEA will be one of our Host Training
Establishments (HTE).Before we’ll have the closing remarks, let me call on stage our SIPP
Coordinator, Mr. Joseph P. de La Cerna and our Commandant, Mr. Ronald E. Tuason for the
giving of Certificate and token of appreciation to our speakers

University of Cebu - Banilad, College of Criminology held at UC-Banilad campus, Senior High
School Building Student’s Lounge. Given this 17th day of November, in the year of our 2023.

C: Thank you for those great closing remarks, Sir De la Cerna. And that ends our PDEA
seminar. I hope everyone learned so much that you can utilize for your future endeavors,
interns. 0But, before you leave may I request all teams to come on stage since we will be
having a photo opportunity. Our photo opportunity will be done by Team starting with Team 1-5
together with our speakers, our SIPP Coordinator, our Commandant, and the rest of the
representatives from the PDEA.
