"Survey Based Study on Adverse Drug Reaction and Treatment of Sickle Cell Anemia".

Objective: To detect the Adverse drug reaction occurs in sickle cell anemia due to medication and evaluate
mortality rate in last 7 years in District. Also, To study Treatment and management along with problems
associated of SCD.
Description: The study was design to found out common ADR, Treatment and management as well as create
awareness along with problems associated with sickle cell anemia . The use of multi-drug regimen in Sickle cell
disease (SCD) treatment has been associated with undesirable adverse drug reactions (ADR).
Conclusion: According to the study, it was found that some patients experience adverse drug reaction such as
spleen infection, dizziness, blurred vision and hand-foot syndrome after taking Hydroxyurea.
