    What I learned is the difference between the function and what is the simple past and past
    continuous. the simple past is a sentence that used to describe an activity that had been done in the
    past for example,I overworked last night ,He watched a movie last night.the past continuous is a
    sentence that describe an activity that happens at a particular moment in the past, for example, She
    was walking home ,They were playing soccer when it started raining.
