SIMPLE PRESENT

What is simple present? In English, the simple present is the present


tense, it is part of the vocabulary that allows you to describe the
actions that occur at the moment you are speaking or that are part of
your daily routine.

PRESENT PROGRESSIVE
• What is present progressive in English?
• The present continuous, also called present progressive, is a tense that
describes an action that started in the past and is still continuing in the
present. The present continuous requires the present form of the verb 'to
be' and the '-ing' form of the main verb or present participle.

To end the present continuous indicates


actions that are happening as we speak,
ongoing actions in progress, or near
future actions, while the simple present is
used to speak in general about actions in
the present tense and to express habitual
actions or permanent situations.
