degradation. Besides that, Europe and North America were
occupied/took up/made up the most and the least total percentage of
land degraded, respectively.
Overall, over-grazing and deforestation were the main causeS of the
reducing productivity. Europe experienced the significant percentage of
total land degradation, while North America had the lowest one.

Overall, it can be seen from the pie chart that over-gazing and other
contributed the most and the least to the chart, respectively. In terms
of causes land degradation, Europe occupied/took up/made up the
highest proportion while North America occupied/took up/made up
the lowest one.

Overall, over-grazing by cow and forest destructive were two salient


features causing land erosion around the globe. Meanwhile land
degradation in different continents were mostly driven by over-grazing
and over-cultivation.

Overall, over-grazing and different factors accounted for the most


significantly and the least dramatically in the reasons of land
degradation over the world during the 1990s respectively. While
Overcultivation and overgrazing occupied the most percentage of land
degradation in North America and Oceania, respectively.
