AIR QUALITY – EMISSION STANDARD FOR MEDICAL


SOLID WASTE INCINERATORS – PERMISSIBLE LIMITS

1. Scope of Application

1.1 This Standard stipulates list, maximum permissible limits of pollution


parameters of exhausted gas emit from medical solid waste incinerators
to the surrounding air environment.

1.2 This Standard is to be applied for controlling quality of exhausted gas


from medical solid waste incinerators and also is to be applied for
selection and accomplishment of equipment in the process of
manufacture, import, installation, operation maintenance of medical solid
waste incinerators.

2. Limited values

2.1 The list and maximum permissible limits of the specific pollution
parameters of exhausted gas from medical solid waste incinerators are
given in Table 1 hereof.

2.2 The methods of sampling, analysing and determining pollution


parameters of exhausted gas from medical solid waste incinerators are
stipulated in current ruling Vietnamese Standards.
