The Amazing Adventure of Adam and Eve in

the Garden

A long, long time ago, in the most beautiful garden you

can imagine, there lived two very special people: Adam
and Eve. The garden was called the Garden of Eden, and
it was like a paradise filled with colorful flowers, tall
trees, and friendly animals.

아주 오래 전, 상상할 수 있는 가장 아름다운 정원에,

아담과 하와라는 특별한 두 사람이 살았어요. 그
정원의 이름은 에덴 동산이었고, 그 안엔 화사한 꽃,
큰 나무, 그리고 친근한 동물들로 가득했어요.

Now, here's what made Adam and Eve so special: they

were the very first people that God ever created. They
were like the king and queen of this amazing garden.
그런데 아담과 하와를 특별하게 만든 것은
무엇일까요? 그들은 하나님이 창조한 최초의
사람들이었어요. 그들은 이 놀라운 정원의 왕과 여왕
같았어요.

God had just one rule for them, though. He said, "You can
eat any fruit you want in this garden, except for one - the
fruit from a special tree called the 'Tree of Knowledge of
Good and Evil.' If you eat from that tree, you'll know
things you shouldn't, and that wouldn't be good."

하지만 하나님은 그들에게 하나의 규칙을 두셨어요.

그분은 말씀하셨어요, "너희는 이 정원 안에서 어떤

For a while, everything was perfect. Adam and Eve spent

their days exploring the garden, talking to the animals,
and enjoying delicious fruits. They were happy, and they
were best friends with God.

정원을 탐험하며 동물들과 이야기하고 맛있는
과일을 즐기며 날을 보냈어요. 그들은 행복하게

But one day, a sneaky snake came slithering into the

garden. The snake whispered in Eve's ear, "Why don't you
try a bite of that fruit from the Tree of Knowledge? It
looks so tasty! God won't mind."

하지만 어느 날, 한 마리 간사한 뱀이 정원으로

기다랗게 기어들어왔어요. 그 뱀은 하와의 귓가에
속삭였어요, "왜 '선악의 지식 나무' 열매 한 조각을
먹어보지 않을까? 정말 맛있어 보여! 하나님께서도
괜찮아하실 거야."

Eve thought about it and, sadly, she decided to take a

bite. Then, she gave some to Adam, and he took a bite
too. Suddenly, they realized they were naked, and they
felt embarrassed and scared.

하와는 이를 생각해 보았고, 안타깝게도 한 입 베어

먹기로 결정했어요. 그런 다음 그녀는 아담에게도

That evening, they heard God walking in the garden.

Instead of running to Him like they used to, they hid
among the trees because they were ashamed of what
they had done.

God asked, "Why are you hiding?" Adam and Eve

explained what happened, and they felt really sorry.

God forgave them but explained that there were

consequences for their actions. They had to leave the
Garden of Eden and work hard to grow their own food.
Life outside the garden wouldn't be as easy as before.

But God also promised something wonderful – He would

send someone special to save them and all the people
who would come after them. That special someone
would help them learn how to make good choices and be
close to God again.
