Tittle: The Legend of Ciung Wanara

A long time ago in West Java there was a kingdom named Galuh Kingdom. Galuh Kingdom was Led by
the Wise King named King Barma Wijaya Kusuma. The king was had two wives, the first wive name was
Dewi Pangrenyep and the second wive name was Dewi Naganingrum.

Then, in the same time, the two of wive was pregnant. Dewi Pangrenyep gave birth first, she gave birth
a handsome and cuttie boy named Hariangbanga.

Then before Dewi Naganingrum gave birth, the King exiled himself from the kingdom to a remote place
called Gunung Padang, located in the Cikoneng area, Ciamis. In that place, the king meditated to
improve his knowledge and changed his name to Pandita Ajar Sukaresi, so that his whereabouts would
not be known. The one who replaced the King while he was meditating was his Patihs, named Bondan
Sarati.

Complication:

Not long after, the moment arrived when Dewi Naganingrum gave birth, Dewi Pangrenyep didn't like
Dewi Naganingrum gave birth a boy, she felt she was being rivaled. because she won't to ruled the
kingdom and created her son for being a King soon. Then She also made an evil plan, She wanted to
killed Dewi Naganingrum's boy, then She changed the baby with a puppy. Dewi Pangrenyep was asked
someone named Uwa Bangtara Lengser to carry out her evil plan, Bantara Lengser was person which
was helped the childbirth process Dewi Naganingrum.

After childbirth process was finished, Uwa Bantara Lengser carrying out the orders of Dewi Pangrenyep,
the baby that had gave birth by Dewi Naganingrum was exchanged with a puppy, because Uwa Bantara
Lengser didn't bear to killed the baby, He was put the baby in basket and put a chicken egg on the
basket then the basket was thrown into the river, called the Citanduy river. Then because Dewi
Naganingrum was slandered for giving birth to puppies, Dewi Naganingrum was exiled to Geger Sunten.

Then, the baby basket was found with an old Married couple named Nini and Aki balangantrang, they
aren't had a child. They found the basket when they went to a river to catch fish. Then, they saw a
basket, when they approached the basket, how surprised they were when they saw that the basket
contained a very cute and handsome baby boy. They were very happy. The husband and wife were very
grateful, they thought that this was the answer to their prayers.

One of the chicken eggs on the side was given to a dragon named Nagawiru who was on Mount Padang.
That dragon was not just a dragon. However, he was the incarnation of a God and it was his duty to
incubate one chicken egg. At some stage. The egg will hatch a rooster and become the favorite animal of
the baby that the husband and wife was found.

Times go on. The baby was become a teenager, he was very handsome, intelligent, dashing and brave.
The child was named Ciung Wanara. Because one day Ciung Wanara accompanied Aki and Nini
Balangantrang to the forest, then there he saw a strange monkey, then he asked Aki Balangantrang, "
What's the name of the monkey?". And Aki balangantrang was answered " The monkey was named
Ciung" . And when their was on the middle of the way, the Child saw a bird that Birds chirped as they
passed by, then the Child told " What's that? what is the name of the bird? ". And again, Aki
balangantrang answered that question "The bird was named Wanara ". The Child was like their name
and because he wasn't had a name since he was born, finally he begged to Aki balangantrang, for give
his a name, that was Ciung Wanara. So. Finally, both of them agreed to their son's wishes

On the other side, in the Galuh Kingdom, King Bondan Sarati managed to get rid of the original King, he
wanted to control the Galuh Kingdom completely, he was greedy, didn't want to give up his temporary
throne. Finally, Pastor Ajar Sukaresi or King Barma Wijaya Kusuma continued his hermitage on Mount
Padang to become stronger.

One day, Ciung Wanara asked his adoptive parents who his biological father and mother were. Initially,
Aki and Nini didn't want to tell the truth. However, Ciung Wanara continued to ask questions. Aki
explained that his biological father was the King of the Galuh Kingdom, and now he was a priest in
Gunung Padang, because his power was taken away by Bondan Sarati, and his mother was exiled in
Geger Sunten. Listen to the explanation. Finally, Ciung Wanara left for the Galuh Kingdom with his
beloved Rooster. Initially, Aki and Nini didn't allow it. However, because his son continued to insist, he
was finally given permission.

Climax:

Upon arrival in the Galuh kingdom. He met two Patihs named Purawesi and Puragading. The two Patihs
were interested in Ciung Wanara, because he brought a rooster. The two Patihs approached and invited
him to a cockfight. Ciung Wanara accepted the challenge from the two Patihs. The cockfighting match
was held in the middle of the Galuh City square. In the end, good luck always sided with Ciung Wanara.
His beloved rooster won the match.
Ciung Wanara's victory immediately spread to the Kingdom. The king heard the news about the victory
that a handsome young man had a very tough rooster. King Bondan Sarati invited Ciung Wanara, came
to the palace.

Ciung Wanara came to the palace,He created chaos in the palace. He challenged the King to cockfight
and Ciung Wanara was offering a bet to the king, that whoever wins he will be given half of the Galuh
kingdom's territory, and if he loses it's his life at stake. And then Ciung Wanara's bet was approved by
the King, because the King felt confident that his rooster would win. His Majesty immediately took the
chicken to the yard and was followed by Ciung Wanara.

The cockfighting match was also very exciting. Initially, it was Ciung Wanara's rooster who showed
defeat. However, suddenly the chicken was possessed by the spirit of Nagawiru from Padang mountain
and finally the chicken became fresh and strong again. In the end, the King's Chicken was easily
defeated. Ciung Wanara finally won the cockfighting match.

Resolution:

In accordance with the agreed agreement, Ciung Wanara received the western country. Meanwhile, the
east side was handed over by the king Hariangbanga.

Finally, all the secrets about Ciung Wanara were revealed and all the crimes committed by Dewi
Pangrenyep were revealed by themselves. Ki Lengser also said that his biological mother was still alive
and exiled in a forest. Ciung Wanara was very happy and immediately welcomed his mother, he also
welcomed his two adoptees.

Meanwhile, Dewi Pangrenyep began to feel anxious when she found out that Ciung Wanara was the
baby she had thrown away. Until finally his anxiety and worries were immediately answered and
realized. Prabu Ciung Wanara, after learning about what Dewi Pangrenyep had done to his mother and
himself, immediately formed a special squad to arrest Dewi Pangrenyep. Without encountering any
significant difficulties, Dewi Pangrenyep was immediately caught and thrown into the palace prison to
pay for all her crimes and atrocities.

Meanwhile, Raden Hariangbanga was very shocked when he found out that his beloved mother had
been captured by Prabu Ciung Wanara's soldiers and thrown into prison.. A fight between two brothers
and sisters from different mothers can no longer be avoided. A fierce battle continued and Raden
Hariangbanga had to act as a warrior, he was defeated by his younger brother Ciung Wanara.

After the battle, the Galuh kingdom was truly divided into two. The Galuh kingdom was divided into two
because during the fight, Hariangbanga's body was thrown by Ciung Wanara and crossed the Cipamali
river. Since then, the Galuh Kingdom has been divided into two. Finally, Ciung Wanara, his mother, and
his adoptive parents lived happily in his palace which was then called Pakuan Pajajaran.

We shouldn't have feelings of envy towards others. That's just will make you never feel calm and free in
living your life. Next, don't justify any means to harm other people. No matter how clever someone is at
covering up their crimes, one day they will definitely be found out. Lastly, don't give up easily. Your life
right now may be at the bottom. However, don't worry, one day you too will be able to find yours
happiness like what happened to Ciung Wanara
