STORY OF JULIO CESAR

1958 Born in Lima, Peru.


Julio César Uribe Flores, one of the most prominent
figures in Peruvian soccer, was born on May 9,
1958 in Lima, Peru. Since his birth, his life has been
marked by a passion and dedication to football that
would lead him to become an influential player and
coach.

1969
Start of the first stage
At the age of 12, he joined the
minor divisions of Sporting Cristal.

1975 First Debut


He made his debut as a professional player for
Sporting Cristal. During his time at this club,
he became a prominent figure and helped the
team win the first two-time championship in
its history in 1979 and 1980.

1981 First Recognition


He is named one of the best players
on the continent.

1982Worldwide recognition
Participate in the Soccer World Cup with the
Peruvian team. In the same year, he moved to
Italy and signed for Cagliari Calcio, where he
became the best foreign footballer of the
first half of the 1982-1983 season in Serie
A.
1984 Season Reassembly
Cagliari is relegated to Serie B, where Julio
spends two seasons

the Colombian and Mexican championships.
During his career, he plays for more than 10
professional teams.

He retired as a player at Carlos A.
Mannucci in Peru, and began his
career as a coach.
