Each Day's Activities

Month 1

 Week 1: Arrive in Chamonix, France and check into hotel. Meet coach for
introduction and assessment. Begin basic alpine skiing techniques training.
 Week 2: Continue basic alpine skiing techniques training. Introduce slalom
and giant slalom techniques.
 Week 3: Refine slalom and giant slalom techniques. Begin course strategy
training.
 Week 4: Continue course strategy training. Begin race preparation training.

Month 2

 Week 1: Continue race preparation training. Travel to Val d'Isère, France.

 Week 2: Continue race preparation training. Begin mental toughness training.
 Week 3: Refine race preparation and mental toughness training.
 Week 4: Continue race preparation and mental toughness training. Travel to
Courchevel, France.

Month 3

 Week 1: Continue race preparation and mental toughness training.

 Week 2: Begin race simulation training.
 Week 3: Continue race simulation training. Travel to Méribel, France.
 Week 4: Continue race simulation training. Begin tapering for competition.

Month 4

 Week 1: Continue tapering for competition.

  Week 2: Compete in local and regional races.
 Week 3: Compete in national races.
 Week 4: Depart from Méribel, France.
