Part 1.1: Pre match responsibilities
Scout needs to fully charge his/her Android device and additional cell phone. He needs to be reachable
at least from 2 hours before the kick-off time and 1 hour after the match end. The method of being
online is not so important, so it can be on Skype or by phone.

IMPORTANT NOTE 1: battery charge and availability are very important and problems with this will lead
to 100% fee cut.

Part 1.2: At the venue

Scout must be at the venue at least 30 minutes before the kick-off time. At that time he logs in to the
“Megafeed” application with his Login and Password (picture 1).

Picture 1: Log in

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: be attentive to choose REAL type if you are going to cover a real match, or TEST –
to take a training.

3
After logging in Scout will face the list of available matches. He must select and open the match that is
going to cover (picture 2).

Picture 2: Match list

After selecting the match Scout will need to confirm that he is on the venue by clicking In position
button, or if there are some unexpected reasons to be late Scout must send Will be late message, and
after receiving a call from Supporter must tell why is he going to be late and tell approximate time to be
in stadium (picture 3).

Picture 3: Entering into the match

4
As soon as Scout reports that he/she is in position application will ask to select weather and pitch
conditions, which can be chosen from drop down lists (picture 4).

Picture 4: Weather and pitch conditions

After this Scout can see the screen with the main buttons with red background, which means that the
market is closed and the system is in Bet Stop mode (picture 5).

Picture 5: Bet Stop mode

15 minutes before the match Scout presses Bet Start button on the screen, it goes green, which means
market is open and the system is in Bet Start mode (picture 6).

5
Picture 6: Bet Start mode

IMPORTANT NOTE 3: not opening market in time will lead to fee cuts.

Part 2: Menu buttons

Pressing Menu button on the Android device will open application’s menu, where Scout can choose
several events (picture 7).

Picture 7: Menu

Part 2.1: Match start

Match start is one of the most important events and no delay should be done. Pressing Match start
button from the Menu will open a pop-up to choose kick-off team and confirm the kick-off (picture 8).

6
Picture 8: Match start

To be sure that match start will be sent in time, before the match start when the referee is checking
everything to be ok to start the match, Scout needs to push Match start and then wait for the referee to
blow the whistle and confirm the start of the game by pressing Send exactly at that moment.

IMPORTANT NOTE 4: delaying match start will lead to 100% fee cut, so Scout must be very accurate and
start the match using the method mentioned above. Server receives “Match start” event only when one
pushes “Send”.

IMPORTANT NOTE 5: the same procedure must be done to start Second half, 1st and 2nd overtimes.

IMPORTANT NOTE 6: Pay attention that you need to choose kick-off team, otherwise system will not let
you start the match.

Part 2.2.1: End half (active only during the match)

As soon as referee blows the whistle signaling the end of the half Scout needs to send End half from the
application menu. This event also should not have any delay.

Part 2.2.2: End match

As in the case of End half, here also Scout needs to send End match right after the whistle of referee.
Application will open a pop-up to confirm Match end with 3 options: Overtime, Penalties, End match
(picture 9).

7
Picture 9: End match

IMPORTANT NOTE 7: make sure that you will send the right command, because there will not be any
possibility to change it. Sending Overtime instead of End match or vice versa will lead up to 100% fee cut.

Part 2.3: Free text

Free text messages are an important part of coverage procedure and must be sent if needed. By
pressing on Free text button Scout will face a text box to put a custom text or send system message to
Supporter (picture 10).

Picture 10: Free text

Bellow you can check the list of all the system messages from Free text menu with their description.

 Game suspended – if the match is stopped, Scout needs to send this message followed with
appropriate reason,
 Kick-off delayed – it’s the kick-off time, but teams are not on the pitch,
 Direct penalty shootout – need to be sent when teams are going to play penalty shootout
directly after 90 minutes (means missing overtime),
 Very long injury break possible – Scout need to send this massage if the process of medical help
for the injured player takes a longer time than usual and match is not restarted yet,

8
 Water break – when it’s hot, sometimes referees gives a break during the match for about one
minute to drink water. In that cases Scout needs to send this message,
 Referee injured
 Players are fighting – if there is a big fight between players, Scout needs to send this message
followed by BetStop,
 Field player as goalkeeper, HOME – field player will play as goalkeeper for Home team,
 Field player as goalkeeper, AWAY – field player will play as goalkeeper for Away team,
 Yellow card for bench player HOME – yellow card for home team bench player,
 Yellow card for bench player AWAY – yellow card for away team bench player,
 Red card for bench player, HOME – red card for home team bench player,
 Red card for bench player, AWAY – red card for away team bench player,
 Red card for coach, HOME – red card for home team coach,
 Red card for coach, AWAY – red card for away team coach,
 Injury, no more subs, HOME team – home team will play with 1 less player because of injury and
no more substitutions are allowed,
 Injury, no more subs, AWAY team – home team will play with 1 less player because of injury and
no more substitutions are allowed,
 Red card but game continues 11 vs 11 – red card, but the player can be substituted and teams
will continue play with 11 players,
 Incorrect Goal Score
 Incorrect RC Score
 Incorrect PEN Score

Part 2.4: Contact me

In any situation, when Scout needs to ask/explain something, he can send this message, after which
Supporter will call him in the shortest possible time.

Part 2.5: Swap teams

This is an option which swaps team names position on the main screen of application. This will be done
automatically after second half start.

Part 2.6: Pre-game events

When it’s about 5 minutes before the match start, Scout must push Pre-game events button, which will
open the pop-up showed in Picture 11.

9
Picture 11: Pre-game events

On the right side of pop-up Scout must choose jersey colors of the teams. Scout can wait until he will see
and will be sure about colors of team jerseys.

IMPORTANT NOTE 8: jersey colors will be received by server only when Scout pushes Send button. Not
sending jersey colors properly will lead to fee cuts.

On the left side is the list of all pre-game events. Scout needs to send every event as soon as it takes
place:

 Players are coming out – need to be sent before every half start, as soon as players are coming
out from tunnel,
 Players lined up – need to be sent while players are lined up to welcome crowd before the start
of the game,
 National anthem singing – being sent when national anthems are being played (mostly happens
before national teams matches),
 Shake hands – need to be sent when players salute each other,
 Prize giving ceremony – need to be sent if there is a prize giving ceremony,
 Coin flipping – the situation when referee and team captains are flipping coin to choose kick-off
team and pitch sides,
 Photo taking – when the teams stand for photo taking,
 Minute of silence – need to be sent if there is a minute of silence,
 Game about to start – when players are in their places and everything is ok to start the match
(means that the game will start in 5-10 seconds),

After pushing one of this buttons, it will change his background color, and pushing it one more time
Scout will undo that event.

IMPORTANT NOTE 9: Not sending pre-game events properly will lead to fee cuts.

10
Part 2.7: Stop match (active only during the match)
Scout needs to stop match if it is suspended because of bad weather or another reason, and it will be
continued after a while.

Part 2.8: Substitution

As soon as there is a substitution in the teams during the match, Scout needs to push Substitution
button from Menu. Application will open a pop-up to set the team and player’s jersey numbers that are
being changed (picture 12).

Picture 12: Substitution

IMPORTANT NOTE 10: Scout can skip setting numbers for substituting players if there are many
substitutions at the same time or it is hard to see correct numbers, but he needs to do his best to give as
much information as possible.

Part 2.9: Injury break

This message must be sent any time, when medical staff is coming out to the pitch to help the injured
player.

Part 2.10: Stoppage time

Scout needs to send stoppage time at the last minutes of every half. As soon as 4th referee will show
additional time to the half, Scout needs to push Stoppage time button from the application Menu and
enter added minutes in the opened pop-up (picture 13).

11
Picture 13: Stoppage time

Stoppage time must be sent during last minute of each half. If there is no clear indication of Stoppage
time Scout must send 0 minutes.

Part 2.11: 40 minute match (active until match start)

There are some games (for example U17 matches), that every half lasts for 40 minutes instead of 45. In
that cases Scout needs to inform Company about that by sending 40 minutes match event from the
Menu.

Part 2.12: Test Connection

This option will help Scout to check his/her connection with the server (picture 14).

Picture 14: Test connection

12
Part 3: On screen buttons
On the main screen of application there are the buttons that are being used during the match. That
buttons are active only during the match (except Bet Start/Bet Stop buttons that are active all the time
until the end of the match).

Application uses two touch system to send an event or the option of possible event. Scout can see
statistics of each event on the sides of event name.

Part 3.1: Match status

The situation on the pitch is being described by 3 match status for each team: ball safe, attack and
dangerous attack.

Part 3.1.1: Ball safe

Ball safe event for the team needs to be sent when the team possesses the ball in its own half of the
field and there isn’t any danger to concede a goal. It must be sent also in case if the team takes goal kick,
free kick or throw-in in the same part of the field. Ball safe zone is the part of the field between goal line
and center line of the field (picture 15).

Picture 15: Ball safe zone

IMPORTANT NOTE 11: ball safe doesn’t mean just possessing the ball. Be sure that there is no any
danger to lose the ball and only then send ball safe.

13
Part 3.1.2: Attack
Send Attack as soon as the team possesses the ball on the opponents’ part of the field in the zone
before getting near opponents’ penalty area (picture 16).

Picture 16: Attack zone

IMPORTANT NOTE 12: attack for a team can’t be preceded right after attack/dangerous attack for other
team. That means that between two attacks must be at least one ball safe.

Part 3.1.3: Dangerous attack

As soon as one of the teams possesses the ball near opponents’ penalty area and has an opportunity to
score a goal Scout needs to send Dangerous attack event for that team. Even if the team loses the ball
but has a high pressing on opponents’ defensive line then Scout needs to stay on dangerous attack.
Dangerous attack zone is shown in picture 17.

Picture 17: Dangerous attack zone

14
IMPORTANT NOTE 13: dangerous attack for a team can’t be preceded right after dangerous
attack/attack for other team. That means that between two dangerous attacks must be at least one ball
safe.

IMPORTANT NOTE 14: not following the rules mentioned in IMPORTANT NOTE 10 and IMPORTANT
NOTE 11 will lead to fee cuts.

Part 3.2: Possible goal

Goal is one of the most important events during coverage of the match and no delay can be made while
sending it.

As soon as the ball crosses the goal line Scout must push on Goal button, which will automatically
generate Bet Stop mode and open a pop-up to choose the team which scored the goal (picture 18).

Picture 18: Possible goal

After choosing the scoring team Scout will face another pop-up to confirm/undo goal (picture 19).

Picture 19: Goal

Do not hurry to confirm the goal because there will not be way back after confirmation of the goal by
pressing Scored. Make sure that referee will show to the center of the field and the goal will be counted
and continue by pressing Scored button. As soon as match is restarted press Bet Start and continue with
coverage.

If the goal is disallowed by referee because of offside or some other reason, push Undo button, open the
market by pressing Bet Start and enter the right command.
15
IMPORTANT NOTE 15: make sure that you will not open the market with the wrong score in the system.
Contact Supporter in Bet Stop mode if you can’t solve the issue yourself. Even one second of Bet Start
mode with the wrong score will lead to 100% fee cut.

IMPORTANT NOTE 16: while sending a goal be sure that match status is dangerous attack. Missing
dangerous attack before the goal will lead to fee cuts.

Part 3.3: Possible red card

Sending red card is as important as the goal, so any delay will lead to 100% fee cut. To send a red card
push on the Pos. RC button on the screen. This will generate bet stop mode and open a pop-up to
choose information about red card and confirm it (picture 20).

Picture 20: Red card

There will be two options to choose before confirming the red card. Push 2xYC if the player receives red
card by the second yellow card or RC if it’s a direct red card and confirm it by pressing Send. If you sent
red card by mistake or it was dismissed by referee just press Cancel. After all inputs Scout needs to open
the market by pressing Bet Start.

IMPORTANT NOTE 17: as in case of goal, any second of open market with wrong score of red cards will
lead to 100% fee cut.

Part 3.4: Possible penalty

3rd most important event is penalty, which must be sent immediately when there is an unclear situation
in penalty box and there is a possibility that referee can award a penalty kick. To send this event scouts
need to push on Pos. pen button on the screen. Application will generate an automatic Bet Stop and will
open a pop-up to confirm/cancel penalty (picture 21).

16
Picture 21: Possible penalty

If a penalty is awarded, choose the team that will take the penalty and confirm it by pushing Send
button.

After confirmation application will open another pop-up to enter further information (picture 22).

Picture 22: Penalty

Push on Scored button if the penalty was scored, on Missed – if it was missed. If the penalty was
disallowed Scout needs to push Undo button.

If the foul that caused penalty was followed by a yellow/red card for the player that made the tackle,
Scout needs to send it before sending information about penalty. If Scout sends red card application
opens red cards pop-up (shown in picture 20) to choose whether it was direct red card or red card with
second yellow card.

IMPORTANT NOTE 18: while sending a penalty be sure that match status is dangerous attack. Missing
dangerous attack before the penalty will lead to fee cuts.

17
Part 3.5: Possible yellow card
While there is a foul that can be punished with a yellow card Scout needs to push on the Pos. YC button.
After pop-up opening (picture 23) Scout can choose the team which player receives yellow card, cancel
it, or by pushing Possible Red Card button redirected to red card pop-up (picture 20), which will be
followed with automatic bet stop.

Picture 23: Yellow card

IMPORTANT NOTE 19: if you missed a yellow card during the match Scout needs to inform about that
Supporter, then enter it by the method mentioned above.

Part 3.6: Possible corner

To send a corner Scout needs to push on the Pos. corner button (picture 24). Application will open a
pop-up to choose the team that will take the corner kick, choose the side of the corner kick, or to cancel
it.

Picture 24: Possible corner

18
IMPORTANT NOTE 20: any time when ball goes out from the back goal line and there is a possibility that
referee can award a corner kick, immediately send possible corner to avoid any kind of delays. If there is
not a corner and referee awards goal kick for defending team, you can easily cancel possible corner and
continue coverage with sending ball safe and goal kick.

IMPORTANT NOTE 21: while sending a corner kick be sure that match status is dangerous attack.
Missing dangerous attack before the corner will lead to fee cuts.

Part 3.7: Possible free kick

As soon as referee blows the whistle to award a free kick Scout needs to push immediately on Pos. FK
button on the screen. He will face a pop-up to choose the team that will take the free kick and set the
average position from where it will be taken (picture 25).

Picture 25: Free kick

If during free kick referee shows a yellow or red card Scout can push on the corresponding button from
the free kick pop-up, which will redirect him to the pop-ups shown in the pictures 20 and 23. After
entering information on cards Scout will be returned to the free kick’s pop-up. If the free kick is
disallowed Scout can easily close the pop-up with Cancel button.

Part 3.8: Goal kick

To send a goal kick for a team push on the Goal kick button on the screen then on the team name that
will take the goal kick.

IMPORTANT NOTE 22: while sending a goal kick be sure that match status is ball safe. Missing ball safe
before the goal kick will lead to fee cuts.

19
Part 3.9: Event list
Scout can check the event list by dragging the main screen of application from the left edge to the right.
After that Scout can see the list of events sent by him in ascending sequence (picture 26).

Picture 26: Event list

Every event has 3 types of status: Sent – green check, Pending – red cross, System problems – yellow
exclamation mark.

Sent status means that the event is received by the system.

Pending status means that the event is not received by the system because of connection problems of
Scout’s device, so he must fix it as soon as possible.

System problems status means that the event is not received by the system because of technical issues.

Part 4: Standard situations

By pushing on one of the team names application will open a pop-up where scout will face a pitch with
the ball on the left side and some events on the right side (picture 27).

Picture 27: Standard situations

20
Part 4.1: Offside
If a player is caught offside Scout needs to set the position from where the free kick will be taken and
push on FK Offside button.

IMPORTANT NOTE 23: pay attention that FK Offside event must not be sent to the team player who was
caught offside, but for the team that will restart the game with a free kick.

IMPORTANT NOTE 24: before FK Offside be sure that you have sent ball safe for the team that will
restart the game.

Part 4.2: Throw in

To send a throw-in Scout needs to set the average position from where the throw in will be made and
then push on Throw in button.

Part 4.3: Shot on/off target

To send a shot on/off target just push on Shot on/Shot off buttons respectively.

IMPORTANT NOTE 25: make sure that match status is dangerous attack while sending shots.

IMPORTANT NOTE 26: shot on woodwork must be sent as shot on target.

Part 5: Communication with Supporters

Scout needs to be in touch with Supporter during the whole period of coverage. There are two ways to
chat with Supporter.

By second phone Scout can receive calls from Supporter and needs to answer to every call as soon as
possible.

If Scout needs to ask/tell something to Supporter, or Supporter wants to check some information
probably he will write a text message that can be seen and answered from the message button on the
top right corner of the main screen (picture 28).

21
Picture 28: Chat with Support

IMPORTANT NOTE 27: not answering supporters’ calls or speaking in disrespectful manner will lead to
fee cuts.

Part 5.1: Game suspended/statistics change

There can be situations when Scout realizes that there are some mistakes in statistics and it must be
fixed. If the mistake is not from last 3 events and can’t be fixed by undoing it, he must ask Supporter to
help him. During that procedure Scout will be disabled to send any event, except sending messages in
chat. Application will open a pop-up with the text "You are blocked!" (picture 29) and he will have
opportunity to continue the match as soon as the pop-up closes automatically.
