Before you begin
Content pack and add-ins
You will need a Microsoft Viva content pack to complete this demo. You can obtain a demo environment at
https://cdx.transform.microsoft.com/my-tenants/create-tenant.

User accounts
 Primary user name: AdeleV@<tenant>.onmicrosoft.com
 Password: The password for all accounts is available on your tenant's demo card at
https://cdx.transform.microsoft.com/my-tenants.

One time setup steps


If this is the first time you are using the demo environment, complete the One time setup steps at the end of this document.

Demo setup steps


Complete the following steps before each presentation of the demo.

Primary persona setup


1. Launch a new Microsoft Edge InPrivate browsing session and navigate to https://portal.office.com
2. Login with AdeleV@<TenantName>.onmicrosoft.com using the password on your tenants demo card at
https://cdx.transform.microsoft.com/my-tenants

Introduction

Adele Vance works for Contoso, a leading coffee machine manufacturer with clients worldwide. She spends a lot of time in Outlook,
and other systems to see a complete view of her top accounts. Contoso’s admin team recently activated the preview of Viva Sales
with generative AI capabilities using GPT to help their sales teams improve their productivity. Utilizing Viva Sales Adele will be able
to:
1. Auto generate email responses such as reply to inquiry, offer a discount, make a proposal or address a concern.
2. Improve the content and timeliness of email communications with prospects and customers.
3. Send personalized messages automatically while freeing up the time spent managing email.

Adele is a busy relationship seller, working every day with key

One-time setup steps
Complete the following one-time setup steps once to complete the configuration of your demo environment.
IMPORTANT: Some of these steps may require a few hours or up to a day to take full effect. Be sure to prepare your demo tenant
well ahead of time.

Setting up Viva Sales Generative AI Capabilities using GPT Preview


1. Launch Outlook.
2. Open Viva Sales from Add-ins section. If you do not see Viva Sales, select an email message, and click Get add-ins from the
ribbon. Search for Viva Sales.
3. When prompted, sign into Dynamics 365.
4. Select the default Org.
5. Select Teams.
6. Click Viva Sales from the app launcher. If not displayed click … and search for Viva Sales.
7. From the Viva Sales app, click Settings at the top.
8. From the left under Admin settings, click Email.
9. Toggle Suggested replies on.
