Task 3. Imagine that you are showing your photo album to your friend. Choose one
photo to present to your friend. You will have to start speaking in 1.5 minutes and will
speak for not more than 2 minutes. You have to talk continuously. In your talk
remember to speak about:
when you took the photo — когда вы сделали этот снимок (1)
what/who is in the photo — что или кто изображен на фотографии (2)
what is happening — что происходит в момент, когда был сделан снимок (3)
why you took the photo — почему вы сделали этот снимок (4)
why you decided to show the picture to your friend — почему вы решили
показать эту фотографию своему другу (5)
[Аспект 4, аспект 5] Personally, I would certainly prefer freedom for wild animals. That
is why I feel strongly against the first photo. I can’t help feeling sad and worried about
that unlucky bear, which looks tired of people’s attention. I really do think that keeping
wild animals in zoos is inhuman. More than that, I strongly believe that every living
being should have the right to be free.
[Аспект 5] In conclusion, I would like to say that both pictures make us think about
animal life but in a different way.
There are 2 pictures in front of me. Both of them are related to the same
theme. Let me start describing picture 1 in which you can see ... (say a
few things about the picture). In picture 2 there is/are...... The two
photos have a lot of features in common. …….... . Besides, another
resemblance is that both pictures depict ………
Although I've pointed out the similarities, the pictures differ in several
details I'd like to draw your attention to. For example, the first picture
shows…….. , while the other one represents... . Besides, in the first
photo (there is/are / you can see ……….. ), whereas in the second one
(there is/are / you can see ……….. )
I'd prefer (the activity/or smth else) shown in picture (1/2), because...
Also I think that …………
In conclusion, I would like to say that both pictures …………. (make us
think about ……)
That's all I wanted to say, thank you for listening
