(i) Describe the information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure that
you may have seen being used by tellers in a computerized supermarket and
how it is used. (8 Marks)

(ii) Supposing you were assigned to work in a modern radio station, what kind of
computer input devices and output devices would you expect to find there?

(iii) If you intend to buy a computer, explain how you would decide which computer
system to be purchased, what software to install inside it and what peripheral
devices it should have? (5 Marks)

(iv) Explain the importance of system software to a computer system. (4 Marks)
