Learnership Agreement

Between

Sakhikamva Foundation NPO 147-351 herein after referred to as “the Company”)

and

Where-as the Company has the pleasure in confirming your temporary assignment to undertake Work
Integrated Learnership as an In-Service Trainee (internship) at Sakhikamva Foundation NPO 147-
351, it is agreed that:

1. Due to the fact that you are an in-service Learner at Sakhikamva Foundation, the Company does
not in any way consider you to be an employee of the Company.
2. The Company will merely expose you to the working environment of your chosen field of learning.
At the end of the agreed period of learning, the Company will provide you with a written
assessment outlining your levels of practical exposure and competency in your field of learning.
3. Whilst the Company does not in any way guarantee you permanent employment upon the
successful conclusion of your Work Integrated Learning, such an opportunity may arise.
The following conditions pertaining to your traineeship are also specifically recorded:

a. Duration: You will commence your Work Integrated Learning 12 November 2022 until
31 January or earlier.

b. Attendance: The attendance is outcomes-based and remuneration is based on the

hours worked.

c. Payment details: The Company will not pay wages during your period of practical
learning. The Company will however pay Learners a learning allowance of R 50 per hour
(60 to 80 hours for the period of the contract), in order to assist Learners towards the
payment of transport fees, as well as other incidental costs. Such payment will be made in
arrears by EFT on the last day of each month.

d. Benefits: In view of the fact that you are not an employee of the Company, you do
not qualify for participation in any of the Company Funds, Schemes and other benefits,
such as leave, sick leave, etc.

e. Public Holidays: You will not be required to perform practical Work Integrated
Learning on public holidays.

f. Absence due to illness: You are required to inform you supervisor / mentor as soon
as is practically possible of any illness preventing you from performing Work Integrated
Learning. The Company will not remunerate you for any non-attendance of practical
learning caused by illness.

g. Portfolio of Learning: It is mandatory for you to compile a Portfolio of Learning.

4. Assessments of this Work Integrated Learning will be conducted at monthly intervals. You are
required to prepare a self-assessment for verification by your Mentor.

5. Work location: The primary location of your learnership will be at: Sakhikamva Foundation, Hangar
30, Lanseria International Airport, South Africa.

6. Confidentiality

a. Copyright

i. Any invention, design, quality assurance documentation, standards

and specifications arising from your assignment, as well as any information
gained by yourself as a result of Work Integrated Leaning, including computer
programs, shall be regarded by you as being completely confidential and you
are required not to divulge any of the above to any person outside the
organization without the express written permission of the Chief Executive
Officer. ii. All material, both intellectual and physical, is the property of
the Company. Any ideas or inventions made by the trainee will remain the
property of the Company. No material of any sort may leave the premises
without the proper authorization.

b. Information Technology Diligence

i. It is a condition of Work Integrated Learning that no trainee be

allowed or permitted to remove or transfer, without express written
permission, via electronic format of any sort or any other means of data
transfer, any corporate information.

ii. In addition, no discs from outside the Company or electronic transfer

of any sort shall be permitted to be installed on a Company computer.

7. Termination of Assignment

a. The Work Integrated Learning will cease upon completion of the agreed
period and may only be extended by written consent of both parties.

b. Notwithstanding the above, either party may terminate the Work Integrated
Learning as a result of misconduct, incapacity or non-performance to the
requirements or the prescribed practical standards, or operational requirements.

c. A notice period of 1 week shall be applicable to both parties.
