This book contains information about the Mirror of Inner Turmoil, a special Item
manufactured only and exclusively by the Kin Family Organization.

General Information
The Mirror of Inner Turmoil was created by changelings a long time ago, the way to create
one of them is a secret kept until today by the Kin Family. It is believed that this instrument
was used by generations of changelings to better understand themselves and the others
around them.

The Mirror is adorned with depictions of masks engraved on the four corners with a central
face above it. It is made of a steel plate and in the middle there is a small face mirror that
looks mundane.

Despite its appearance this mirror is an extremely rare relic, and a limited number of them
can be found within the Kin Family. With the creation method being hidden to this day, this
can be an extremely rare item to get a hold of.
Magical properties
Firstly, as one picks it up, they would notice the lack of a reflection in the mirror. It is not
capable of showing the reflection of any creature if its command word was not said.

If you attune yourself with this item and say it’s Command Word, the mirror starts to become
blurry, and after some seconds you will see a reflection of yourself. This reflection can come
in varied ways depending on how the creature sees itself:

● Someone the creature wanted to be;

● The creature’s current face, but with adjustments to it that they wish they had;
● A personification of a strong emotion the creature has;
● Another personality that a creature has;
● Etc..

The reflection will talk to the creature as it was alive. Using their own thoughts and reasoning
that comes from the creature that spoke the command word. Other creatures can also hear
and interact with the reflection, and the reflection will react and interact with them in return.

Practical uses within the Kin Family

Within the Organization, this mirror is used to let higher ranking changelings communicate
with their personality and get to agreements with them. The cases where the personalities of
Replacers don’t share memories are quite rare, and in those cases the use of this mirror is
mandatory for them to understand themselves and their performance.

Unfortunately we still have no leads on any instances of this item, nor its creation method.
